Chapter 3

Yanna

He held my hand as we walked out of the bar. At ng marating namin ang sasakyan nya ay pinagbuksan pa nya ako ng pinto. He even put my seatbelt on and kissed the top of my head.

He went around the car. opened his door and sat down on the driver’s seat. He caressed my cheek and asked "Are you okay?"

Tumango ako. "Just a little tipsy but I am okay."

"My place is not that far. I can make you coffee when we get there unless you want to stop by at Starbucks, let me know."

"I'm okay. Coffee can wait." Tipid ko syang nginitian. "Thank you."

He started the car and drove. Ang tahimik sa kotse. It was one of those awkward silences that only music can cure. Nagpaalam ako sa kanya kung pwede kong pakialaman ang music player nya. I just wanted to hear some music at hindi ang malakas na t***k ng puso ko. Honestly, I'm nervous. Wala naman syang ibang sinabi bukod sa inaya nya akong sumama sa bahay nya. But isn’t that an invitation for s*x? A one night stand? Mismong ako ay hindi makaintindi sa sarili ko. Ang tagal kong iningatan ang puri ko pero bakit ang bilis kong magdesisyon na ibigay sa kanya kahit iilang oras pa lang kaming nagkakakilala? Si Andrei nga kahit anong ungot nya sa akin sa loob ng dalawang taon ay hindi ako napapayag. Kaya nga nya ako ipinagpalit sa iba.

"Can I play some music?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"As long as it's not the barbie girl song I'm okay." Natatawang sabi nya.

Bahagya akong napatawa at naisip kong tudyuin sya. "Sige, barbie girl song na lang. That’s a great idea." I grinned at him.

"Savage!" He winked at me and I felt my heart skipped a beat. I don't like that song my self, inaasar ko lang talaga sya.

I saw John Mayer's CD. It has the song I like so I played "Half of my Heart".

Napahimig ako. I love this song. Napalingon ako sa kanya at ngumiti sya.

Kumanta na rin sya at sumabay sa akin. Hindi ko pa ito nagawa dati, my ex doesn't like to sing. He likes mostly ghetto songs and I can't relate. But with Leo, I'm having so much fun just doing this with him. Surprisingly, nasa tono rin sya.

Hindi ko namalayan na nakarating na kami sa resthouse nya. Hindi ito kalayuan sa Antonio's. More like a twenty minute walk. I looked around and the view is enchanting. Madaming maliliit na ilaw sa paligid at mistulang libo libong alitaptap.

"Come in." Aya nya sa akin sa loob.

"Ikaw lang mag-isa dito?" Tanong ko. The interior of this house is simply gorgeous. Every detail is intricate. Parang inaral lahat at napakametikuloso ng may-ari. The high ceiling alone is full of details and don't get me started with the huge windows. I love natural light. Ano kaya ang itsura nito sa umaga? The shades of paint used on the walls are calming. This place used the minimalist style. Kahit sahig, parang masarap higaan at magpagulong gulong. Binusog ko ang mata ko sa pagtingin.

"No, nandito si Manang at ang asawa nya. Sila ni Manong ang katiwala namin dito pero may sarili silang tahanan at katabi lang nitong bahay. Tulog na sila ngayon." Napangiti ito. "You seem to admire my place."

Napatango ako at ngumiti rin sa kanya. "Your place is beautiful." Nang tumingin ako sa relo ko ay pasado alas dose na pala. Hindi naman ako hahanapin ng parents ko. Nagpaalam ako kanina sa kanila sa telepono. They're out of the country. Pinagbakasyon ko sila sa Singapore. Puro na lang kasi sila trabaho, kailangan din nila mag unwind. I gave them a five day stay at Marina Bay and return plane tickets. I also gave them extra spending money.

"Do you want anything to drink?" Leo is such a good host.

"Yes, please." Nauuhaw na nga ako. Must be the alcohol draining me. Parang nasimot na yata lahat ng tubig ko sa katawan.

"What would you like? Coffee, tea, water, juice?"

Gustuhin ko man mag kape ngayon ay baka hindi ako makatulog. Besides, I feel dehydrated. "Water is fine. Where’s your washroom?" Tinuro nya ang pasilyo na malapit din lang sa salas. Tinungo ko ang washroom. Naiihi na ako.

Sosyal, may bidet. Nakita ko na may mouthwash dispenser din. Sosyalan talaga! I made a fake exhale on my hand and smelled my breath, yuck! I smell like beer. Pinakialaman ko na ang mouthwash at may disposable cups din. I looked in the mirror and fixed myself. Nang matiyak kong maayos na ang aking itsura ay lumabas na ako ng banyo. Hinanap ko sya at  nakita ko na nakaupo sa salas. He was browing his phone. Nang mapansin nya ang pagdating ko ay pinatay nya ang telepono nya at itinabi. His full attention is on me now.

"Did you find the washroom okay?" Tanong nya sa akin.

Tumango ako. "I just freshened up a bit." Inabot nya ang kamay ko at pinaupo ako sa tabi nya.

“Here’s your water.” Inabot sa akin ang tubig. I took a few sips at ibinalik ko na rin sa coffee table. Automatic na umakbay sya sa akin. He kissed my temple. Nagtagal ang labi nya sa sentido ko. He makes me feel like I’m his most treasure possession.

"You haven't told me anything about yourself except for your age." Sabi ko sa kanya.

"What do you want to know?" Inaamoy nya ang buhok ko. His arms are still around me and his hand is sensually rubbing my bare arm.

Hindi ako lalo makapagisip ng tanong. He is giving me these weird sensations again. "Anything."

"Well, I'm in business. That's how I met Matt in New York. I have one older sister, sya ang kasama ko sa restaurant kanina. She's married and recently found out that she's pregnant so I took them out for dinner to celebrate. Sila ng brother in law ko. I'm excited to have a niece or nephew."

Here comes the most dreaded question. "Are you married?" Diretso kong tanong. Para kasing mahilig sya sa bata. Hindi ko na naisip kanina na baka may asawa na ang lalakeng ito noong sumama ako sa kanya.

Natawa sya at itinaas ang dalawang kamay. Showing me there's no ring in his finger. Mapakanan o mapakaliwang kamay. "No, I'm not married." He chuckled. "And I'm not dating anyone right now, except you." Ramdam ko ang mainit nyang hininga sa may leeg ko. Napataas ako ng tingin sa kanya ang sinalubong ang mga mata ko. Bad move on my part. He kissed me at ang isang kamay nya ay nasa baywang ko na.

I stopped the kiss. "Hmm, baka naman hinubad mo lang ang singsing mo." Bulong ko sa kanya.

He smiled. "I would never do that. Kapag ikinasal na tayo, hinding hindi ko huhubarin ang singsing na isinuot mo sa akin. Ikaw ang nagsuot kaya ikaw din ang magtatanggal." He's teasing me.

"Baliw! Kapag kinasal ka dyan, hindi ka rin advance masyadong mag isip?" Siniringan ko sya.

"Ayaw mo ng kasal? Sige itatanan na lang kita." He then winked at me.

"Tse! Tumigil ka nga. Ang dami mong alam." Nakalabi kong sabi sa kanya.

"Joke lang." He faked a cough and whispered half truth.

"I heard that!" Pinanggigilan ko ang pisngi nya.

"Gusto mo unahin na natin ang honey—" Tinakpan ko ang bibig nya gamit ang kamay ko. Pero ang hudyo, dinilaan ang palad ko. Kaya naman tinanggal ko agad at pakiramdam ko ay libo libong boltahe ang nanulay sa himaymay ng katawan ko.

Natigilan ako at napatitig sa kanya. He leaned closer to me and when his face was an inch away, I closed my eyes and I felt his lips on mine.

We started making out in the couch. Nangangalat na rin ang kamay nya. My arms went around his neck and we kissed some more. We were running out of breath when he got up and carried me to his bedroom. His eyes were burning and full of desire.

Hindi ko namalayan kung ilang hakbang ang ginawa nya mula sa sala. Busy sa paghalik. Then I heard a door opened only to close again. Habang buhat nya ako ay umupo sya sa kama at hinahalikan pa rin ako. I am now straddling him and I can feel his growing erection.

I can't get enough of her. Kanina sa restaurant ay hindi ko matanggal ang mga mata ko sa kanya pagpasok nya pa lang sa pintuan. She was simply beautiful and has this twinkle in her eyes. She looked excited. She walked past me and went to the table next to us. He must be the boyfriend. What a lucky guy!

"Leo, isara mo yang bibig mo." Natatawang sabi ng Ate ko. Napangiti na rin ako. "She's so pretty isn't she?" Sabi pa nya. "Careful little brother, I think you've just found your other half."

"Cindy, sweetheart. You're making your brother blush." Damien, my brother-in-law was grinning like a mad man.

I can't believe my sister married this man. Their marriage was arranged by our parents. The night they met at the house and my parents announced their engagement is the day my brother in law fell in love with my sister. While my sister was in shock with what's happening in her life, he was already planning their married life. She's a model in New York and also did a few commercials. She's tall and definitely gorgeous. She's a female version of me. Take that! So that makes me gorgeous too. I chuckled. She was so mad at Damien because he had no problem with what our parents wanted. Damien is a good looking guy. If you like Keannu Reeves, then you'll know what he looks like.

But he courted my sister everyday, binakuran pero hindi ang tipong nakakasakal. Just enough to make my sister realize that even though their marriage was arranged, he fell in love with her at first sight. My sister fell for his charm eventually. Gawin ba naman mistulang flower shop ang bahay namin. Everyday, Damien would send my sister flowers until she says yes to him. It didn't take very long, after a month they’re already a couple. Counting in my head, that makes it 30 or 31 bouquets of yellow roses. Crazy lovers! Now they're having their first child.

I can't help but listen to the conversation at the table beside us. Damn! This guy is dumping this woman? What a loser! At nakabuntis pa ng iba!?

Shortly after, she left. I told my sister I'm going out for a quick smoke. Umangal pa ito at sinabing masama sa kalusugan ko at isa pa buntis sya. So I said to her na mauuna na muna ako at may pupuntahan lang. I skipped dessert. "Pupuntahan mo lang yata e." Natatawang sabi nito, nagpahabol pa ng "Go get your woman." Nagfist bump kami ni Damien at lumabas na rin ako.

Nakita ko syang iyak ng iyak sa kotse nya. But I want her to notice me first. At kung hindi nya ako mapansin at magsimula na sya umalis saka ko sya lalapitan. But she noticed me anyway so I walked towards her. We exchange some pleasantries and sarcasms. This girl is something else. She amuses me. I asked her out at halata ko ang pagaalinlangan nya. Sa tantya ko sa kanya, sya ang uri ng babaeng lahat ng ginagawa buong buhay nya ay calculated. Lahat nakaplano. A girl who doesn't like rearranging when things are not by the book. And my kind is not her type.

Surprisingly, she accepted my offer and went out on a date with me. Nagkakwentuhan kami at may common friend pa. We sang our hearts out earlier. I haven't done that with anyone. We both like John Mayer songs which I find interesting. Well, a lot of women likes that singer so they tend to listen to his song. I think he's a good musician.

We are now here in my resthouse. I own it. I designed it. I can see her admiration for the place but I enjoyed looking at her more.

And even though a lot of people like clients, friends and families have shared their compliments and respect for my work, nothing can compare with what I saw in Yanna's eyes tonight. Para syang bata na binigyan ng kendi. That was priceless.

We were making out in the couch and I took her to the bedroom afterwards. I want her so bad but I can't take advantage of her. She's heartbroken and it's all because of that fool. I want to strangle him and thank him at the same time. Because now she's free and I can make her mine.

As much as I don't want to sleep with blue balls tonight, I had to stop myself from doing the deed with her. She might regret it and hate me in the morning. I don't want that. If she's the one, I want to make it right.

I kissed her forehead and went to get a cold shower. Paglabas ko ng banyo, nakaboxers lang ako at mahimbing na syang natutulog. I noticed she took off her sandals and kicked it. Mukha syang nilalamig at bahagyang nakalilis pa ang damit nya. Such beautiful pair of legs. I groaned and I can feel my body reacting to her. Paano ako makakatulog nito. Control yourself Leo, hindi ka na teenager.

I sighed and pulled out a jogging pants. Damn it! I normally wear nothing when I sleep and now I am clad with boxers and a freaking jogging pants. Tumabi ako sa kanya at niyakap sya. I love her scent, smells like Lilac. Isiniksik ko ang mukha ko sa batok nya hanggang makatulog.
