"Oh, I forgot to introduce you!" Alex paused in his food picking and stood next to Aurelia. With one arm rested on her waist, he introduced the two sides.
"Aurelia, these are the cooks who prepare all of our meals. Samantha, Flavia and Emma," Alex then introduced Aurelia to them, "And this is my wife, Aurelia."
The three cooks nodded happily. One of them said, "You are so pretty!"
Aurelia's entire body stiffened at the compliment, "Thank you."
Alex softly rubbed her waist. It provided a little comfort and reassurance.
"Call us when lunch is ready." Alex picked up a bag of cream cheese bagels and led Aurelia our of the kitchen.
Outside, they bumped into Archie who was dressed in casuals with a bag hung over one shoulder. He spotted the two and stopped.
