Chapter 2 Tim waited patiently while DeVore accompanied Naomi Hardesty to the podium and made his brief speech. He’d mostly imagined how the photographer might look, since Weyrick rarely was caught in front of a camera. In person, the man was even more striking than he had expected. Tall and slender with a deeply tanned outdoorsman’s complexion, Weyrick would be equally at home in jeans or a high-end suit. He strode like a king, like a general, head high and presence emanating from his energetic form.
