But it wasn't enough for Gabriel. Pedro's contract with the company is going to expire in two months' time, and he asked if he could renew it, but Gabriel doesn't want that, claiming that Pedro's services have been unsatisfactory and he doesn't know what that even means. He has been quite competent and everyone else thinks that, except Gabriel.
Last month, he found out Gabriel is intent on driving him away from the company because he wants to replace him with his girlfriend's brother. The boy recently graduated from Law school and didn't even pass the Bar Exams.
