    “Hey…”          I awake to the sound of Shepard's voice. I glare at him, still upset. He rolls his eyes and sighs.          “You know, I really love it when you glare at me like that,” he says, “much better than when you're being snarky and adorable.”       “I’m not adorable.”       A small smile appears on Shepard’s face. He sits down on the couch, leaning back in his usual smug way. “Mmhm.”      I sit up, my head still a little sore from crying. My chest feels so much lighter now and a serine sense of calm and relief flows through me.
