Prologue
“It’s time.” A woman said as she threw open the doors to the throne room.
Tithan sighed and rolled his eyes at the woman, making his wife laugh. “What are you talking about Clotho?”
“The boy must go back.” Clotho told him. “The fourth Trybrid is ready to be turned, I have seen her fate.”
“Death is final Clotho, you of all people know that.” Tatianna reminded the Fate gently.
“Not for these four.” Clotho insisted. “We have seen it.”
“Seen what?” A feminine voice asked. Clotho turned to see Selene and Ambrielle enter the throne room.
“The girl must be turned soon, if she is not we will all perish to Bastion.” Clotho insisted. “The boy must go back, together we can make it happen, and we can extend his life.”
“It’s not possible.” Tithan seethed,
“We need the Trybrids.” Ambrielle interjected, and without him, the others would perish. They need his gift.”
They argued a bit more before Tithan threw up his hands. “Bring me the boy, I must meet him before a decision can be made. Selene vanished and appeared a few minutes later with a young man. “What game is this Selene?” Tithan yelled. “Jaden you should not be here.”
The man tilted his head and laughed silently. “I am not Jaden.”
Tithan stood and to the man’s credit he did not cower away. Clotho admired his bravery. “I am not in the mood for games bring me the young man I asked for.”
The door slammed open once more and an Identical man to the one standing in front of Tithan appeared. “Thank the Gods.” The second man snapped. “You can’t just kidnap him Selene.”
Tithan jumped back in shock. “Wait if you are Jaden, then who are you?” Tithan demanded.
The man bowed low. Flourishing. “My name is Justin Ohmsford,”
“My twin.” Jaden rolled his eyes.
“Twins?” Tithan looked at Selene and Ambrielle.
Clotho felt her impatience rising. “Yes twins. Now can we discuss the matter at hand.”
Tithan waved his hand in silence, and Clotho clenched her jaw in anger. “Tell me about yourself Justin.” Tithan mused.
“Well, I am technically twenty-five. I’m married, I have three children and I am one of the four Trybrids.”
Tatianna was amused by the gal of the young man in front of her husband. She could almost taste his potential. “Tithan dear, I think we should here Clotho out.”
Justin turned and looked at Clotho, his eyes widening as he realized she was one of the three Fates. Clotho felt amusement at his fear and awestruck gaze.
“Well Justin Ohmsford, what if I told you that you could go home to your wife and children?” Clotho spoke her voice like soft velvet.
“I’d say sign me up.” The man grinned, and Clotho decided that she like him.
“Well Justin, let’s figure out how to get you home.” Tatianna spoke softly.
“Agreed.” Tithan nodded. “The world needs the Trybrids.”
