The broken shards of glass were still digging inside my skin. My feet were hurting badly, but I could not stop running. I ran outside the hall and towards the car standing outside. As I stopped, heaving heavily while my hands trembled on the hood of the car, I realized I did not have the keys. Tears were slipping down my cheeks freely. I could not stand there. I wanted to go home. I wanted to sleep this bad dream away. I turned around on my heels and stumbled forward on trembling legs. A few steps ahead and I was falling down on my knees.
