Aiden and I agreed that we would handle the heat incident like mature adults. That is to say, we would pretend that it never happened. We would assume our normal roles in the household, and treat each other as nothing more than friendly acquaintances. We would not talk about the fact that we had been acquaintances with benefits for a couple of days.
