I made my way over to the bar. "Shelia, you are looking beautiful as ever."   "Oh Bond, you know your tricks don’t work on me. You know what belongs on this finger." She winked wiggling her ring finger.   "Trey doesn't get mad if you don’t wear your wedding ring at work?" I asked.   "Are you kidding?" She laughed, as she made my usual. "He knows he's the only man for me, and I make double tips if its off."   "How's that baby?" I smiled, as I grabbed a glass from her.   "She is getting so big." She grabbed her cell phone and showed me a picture.   "Shelia she is beautiful, takes after her mother."   "She's taken bro, find some other poor girl to flirt with." Sterling laughed, walking up next to me. He leaned over the bar, Shelia leaned forward so he could give her a kiss on the cheek. "So I hear you guys have had an exciting night?"   Shelia nodded. "Some guys got into it with another guy for groping on a girl with them?  One of them punched the guy and knocked him out cold."   "Yeah I actually know the girls brother. Ran into them by the bathrooms as they were leaving." Sterling looked at me. "It was Mark Hart's sister."   "Are you serious? Dang, I had forgot Mark had a sister."   "Yeah my mom told me once she went away to boarding school or something." Sterling shurgged. "Catch you later Shelia, tell Trey we said hi." She smiled and nodded as we walked off.   We made our way to a table. "There is some pretty girls here tonight." I smiled at all the women who looked my way.   "Yeah not bad, but I am not driving you and your latest hook-up home tonight!" Sterling warned. "Take an Uber or call a driver."   "You are no fun! Let’s find some girls to dance with." I scanned to dance floor and then I saw her, grinding on some guy. I stood there unable to tear my eyes away from them.   "Eli….Earth to Eli." I felt my shoulder being shook.   "WHAT?!" I snapped.   "What is your problem?"   I turned and shook my head looking down at my drink. "Sorry she's here."   "Who's he…" Sterling scanned the room until he saw her. "Oh great. Let's just go."   I nodded and downed my drink fast. We turned and walked past the bar. "Thanks for the heads up!" I hollered at Shelia.   She shook her head and raised her hand in the air. Sterling pointed at Evelyn.   "Crap Eli. I didn’t see her, I didn't know." She replied.   I shook my head. "Whatever it’s fine."'   "ELI WAIT!" I heard her call my name. I picked up the pace towards the door.   I almost made it when she grabbed my hand. "Where you going? Let's dance?"   Sterling pushed between us. "Why don’t you just go back to grinding on your next unsuspecting victim, you succubus."   I let out a snicker. Evelyn glared at Sterling then stomped off. "You called her a succubus." At this point I am full belly laughing.   "Well, that is the best way I could think to describe her."   We made our way to his car, and he drove me home. "You ok man?" He asked.   I sighed. "Yeah I'm fine. Just thought maybe she was finally out of my head, Then dad brings her up and we run in to her."   "Want me to come up?"   "Ew no you perv." I opened the door and stepped out, giving him a smile.   "You're an i***t, but seriously I can."   "I really am fine. I'll probably just go to bed."   "Alright. Need me to pick you up in the morning since your car is still at the office?" Sterling asked.   "No I'll have a driver pick me up."   Sterling nodded. I shut the door and made my way upstairs. I stripped down to my boxers and climbed into bed. My thoughts now consumed with her. I rolled over fluffing the pillow with my fist wishing I had picked up a girl at the bar.   Before I knew it my alarm was going off. I turned it off and took a quick shower. I decided to skip my run for the day. I made breakfast while I texted my driver. After I ate I made my way downstairs. "Morning Greg."   "Sir." He replied opening the door for me.   I made my way to the Black SUV and climbed in the back. "Good morning Sir."   "Good morning Ben. Straight to the Office please."   Ben nodded and drove to the office. "Do you need me to pick you up this evening?"   "No my car is here, but thank you."   Ben nodded and drove off. I made my way into the foyer, looking up I saw Gracen sitting at the front desk. "Good morning Gracen how are you?"   "Good morning sir. I am good." She replied with a smiled.   "My mom is doing interviews today. Maybe help her find me a good one?" I smirked, as I leaned on the high desktop.   "Skinny, blond, about 5 foot four, smokin body?"   "You do know me well don’t you? So you’re on my side then?"   She laughed and shook her head. "Not really."   "I'm counting on you Gracen!" I said as I walked to the elevator. I grabbed my morning messages from the fill in, and sat down working on the Branson case. A couple hours later mom walked in. I smiled and stood up. "Good morning mom, here for interviews?" I walked over and gave her a kiss on the cheek.   "Yes. I have a bunch set up, hopefully I will have someone in here quickly. Someone that knows what they're doing!"   "I trust your judgment." I smiled.   "I should hope so. I can hire someone solely on their experience, not how long their legs are." She stood up. "My first one will be here in fifteen minutes I am going to go get ready." She pulled me into a hug. "Want to do lunch together in between interviews?"   "Sure, call something in or go out?" I followed her to the elevator.   "Just call something in. I'll be doing interviews in the old first floor office. Lunch there at one?"   "I'll see you then." I smiled as the door closed. I walked back to my office and looked at the fill in. "If my mother has anything to do with it, you'll be back to your old office in no time."   She smiled. "That will be good sir."   "What you don’t like being my assistant?" I smirked and sat on the desk.   "Oh no, no it’s not that. I just ummm, really like my job and am looking forward to getting back to it."   I smiled and stood up. "The nightmare is almost over fill-in." I walked into my office and closed the door. Laughing at the poor girl who was terrified to be my assistant.   I sat down and got back to work. I called Joseph into my office and filled him in on the Dalton account. Got him squared away and ready to head out day after tomorrow to check out their other sites.   It was almost lunch time, so I ordered Thai food and had it delivered. I finished a couple things up and then went down to grab it and meet mom. I noticed she was still in an interview so I waited. A few minutes later she walked out with a tall, beautiful blond. She was wearing a short skirt that showed her long legs, and a button down shirt with the top three buttons undone. She shook moms hand, then smiled at me as she walked out.   I watched her walk away, walking into the office. "How was that interview? She looked nice."   "HA! I bet you thought so. She is an i***t, I think her resume is a complete lie. I asked her several questions. She knows nothing about marketing, analytics, SEO. I wouldn’t trust her to just answer phones."   "Wait a minute." I laughed. "Are you hiring an assistant or another consulting agent?"   "Well they should have some sense of buisness don’t you think?"   "Mom, all they will be doing is answering phones, taking messages, scheduling meetings, handling travel, etcetera. No they don’t need to be a buisness expert."   "Well I disagree. There is nothing wring with a little knowledge about how other parts of the business work."   I smiled. "Ok you’re probably right." I pulled out the boxes and we dove in. "How many more interviews do you have?"   She picked up a stack of resumes. "Six more this afternoon."   "Nothing promising yet?" I asked.   "They have all been bimbo's." She smiled. "You know the kind of girls you would hire."   I smiled and shook my head. "So Mrs. Ashford is in charge of the Charity Gala this year, and I somehow got roped into being auctioned off."   Mom smiled. "What?"   "They are doing a masquerade theme, with a bachelor and bachelorette auction. She got both Sterling and I to agree, plus help find other bachelors and bachelorettes. So if you can think of anyone."   "I think that is a great idea. What a fun theme. I will have to reach out and see if she needs help." She looked at her watch. "My next interview is in ten minutes."   I stood up and kissed her cheek. "Love you."   "Thanks for lunch honey. I love you too."
