I was stunned when Mandy showed up at the door of the classroom.
Although she dressed up as usual like a business woman, her face revealed tiredness. She was spiritless like she had not slept for days, a totally stranger to what I met in the cafe.
Mandy entered the classroom, which created a real buzz amongst the students inside.
“Check this out, it is the professor who seduced one’s husband and get caught on the spot!”
“No way, she seemed like a cold fish. How could she do such a thing?”
“You know, many men prefer this, making them feel a sense of conquest!”
They were talking back and forth, belittled Mandy’s character. Even several male students who spoke up for her before now changed side to condemn.
I could no longer suppress my anger with my hand making a fist, I stood up and
