EVER AFTER

Chapter 10

Its still dark outside, but you can see from the horizon that the sun is almost up. The darkness is slowly fading, while a hue of orange color is slowly peeking over the horizon.

Even with a little light it didn't hinder the three. They are walking swiftly, around the forest. It's so amazing how they can maneuver themselves as if they were walking in flat smooth concrete, not in a muddy and dark forest.

It's probably magical if not, to the menacing aura sorrounding them. The smaller one, a teenage girl with coppery hair is smirking evily, while her mind is filled with evil things he wants the blonde boy that she saw yesterday to experience once she saw him again.

"I want to t*****e him, slowly and painfully..." She hissed as they start to descend to a sloppy trail.

Orange lights were coming from the lamps below and the scent of many humans is their only guide.

"Sister, it won't be good to kill another human while the Council is sniffing around.." An older boy said, he has red hair and muscular body.

"But Artemis I want that w***e to suffer. He didn't have the right to take the man I want!!"

"Jasmine, let it be. Don't hurt the humans, father send us so that we can still negotiate with the Silver Moon. Father wants to have full control with that pack and we can't let them become a part of the Council." Another lad exclaim, like the other boy he is also muscular but he has dark brown hair that he got from their mother.

"And you can have your fun later, if they don't cooperate with us.."Artemis exclaim , as he smirk at his sister. Lexus just let out a big sigh as he brush his fingers to his dark brown hair.

The three of them begin to walk faster when they came near the pack house. Smirking evilly Jasmine begin to chant a spell, letting her magic leave a trail on the earth she's walking making the grass wither and dry up.

She's static on meeting Sebastian. She actually didn't like to marry him at first but when she first saw him at the school cafeteria she knows that he's the one for her.

Sebastian Silvester is the most handsomest man she have ever seen, and she is over the moon knowing that he is going to be her husband.

But there is a thorn in her path. That blonde boy! She wanted to kill him, t*****e him and bury him on the ground. Yes, she will do it. For her to have the man of her dreams she will do anything...

I am happy now and quite satisfied. I know that the Red Moon won't tolerate our excuse but I'm willing to risk it just to see my son happy. Being a father, I need to support and love him and to tolerate all of his whims.

"I'm proud of you darling.." A soft voice whisper beside me, turning my head I saw my wife smiling at me as we both look at our son who is busy cleaning around the porch.

Its still early but he's already hyper, knowing that he can already have a serious relationship with this boy the he like.

I chuckle softly when I saw him talking with his friends with an animated face. Seeing him like this make me and my wife satisfy that we are indeed have done the right thing.

The air suddenly shift, and I smell the scent of dead roses and rain shower. Looking up ahead I saw three figures walking toward us.

"Sylvia, take Seb and his friends we have company.." I state coldly, my wife eyed me worriedly but still complied.

Sebastian and his friends have scowl on their faces when they passed by but when they sniff the air they completely change their expressions.

"What's wrong father?" Seb ask fearfully as my wife forcefully stir them inside the house.

"Later son," I reply as I begin to walk towards the three new comer.

The three of them stop walking when they come near me.

"Why are you here, werewolves of the Red Moon?" I ask coldly.

"You should know better Matthew. You broke your words and we are here to deliver a warning.." The brown haired lad, who I think is the oldest Lexus states.

"And what warning it might be?''

"Our father is not happy, and even our people. You promised your child for an alliance and now your going to take back your words. Our clan is insulted and now, your pack needs to pay the price. Hundreds of our men are coming to your doorstep tommorow at dawn and we won't show any mercy.." The other young man with red hair who I presume is Artemis exclaimed coldly.

A low growl escape from my lips, and my jaw clenched. My wolf is clawing to get out and I know that my eyes are glowing. Its been a while since I've been this angry, and my wolf wanted to rip their throats out for threatening my pack.

"But all of it can be avoided if your son take my hand again and marry me.." A sinister voice chirp, as the only girl from the group who I thought is Jasmine look at me with sinister smile.

I can't believe the words that she said. Looking at her now, I can say that my son is lucky enough that he fall in love to that human. This girl is clearly crazy and I'm worried to whatever she might do to my son if they're marriage have actually happened.

I study their features and I know that they are serious. I do not know what possibly might happen but I am sure that this woman can not make my son happy. Even the pack and my whole family can not possibly have their own peace once she become their Luna. Just the evil aura pouring from her is enough to make me more determine than ever.

"Let your father know that I won't change my mind. If he wants a war, then I will give him one.."

They have shocked faces as they look at me. But Jasmine's face suddenly contort with so much hate as her eyes begun to glow while a wild breeze encircle her making her hair whip wildly.

"I will make you regret saying that old man!!" She screeched loudly, as a sudden gush of winds engulf the three of them.

They just vanish like that, leaving the grasses where their standing dry and withering. A shiver run to my spine as I remember her words.

"Dad, are you okay??" Sebastian's voice snap me from my trance. He and his friends even my wife are already in front of me.

"Yes, Seb..its nothing I can't take care of?" I said as I ruffle his hair. Luckily I'm still taller than him with a few inches letting me do this like when he's still a child.

"..I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.." He murmur softly as he look at me with concern.

"Why are you apologizing, hmm?"

"Because its my fault that the Red Moon want a war with us.."

I bring my hands on his shoulder and grip it affectionately. "Its not your fault Sebastian. They just wanted a reason to attack us and I'm to stupid to not see it before.. And I'm thankful that I know it now, at least I am sure that Jasmine is not good for you nor to us."

Looking at them, especially to my son's face I am sure that I will take everything just to let them have the life that they want. I won't let any pack hurt them. As I felt deep within me the desire to protect all of them.

"John let the warriors prepare for battle and Tim call Rex and let him know our situation. Seb, take your friends to your own platoon and make your own preparations. We need all the hands we can get, this war won't be easy." I order to them, I felt the determination pouring out of them as they left to do my bidding.

Sebastian wipe his tears and look at me as he took off with his friends. He might be a crybaby but he is one of the strongest warriors that we have.

"So its come to this..." Sylvia huff beside me as she put her slender hands around my waist.

"Yes, and we can not let them win this war.." We really can't, as for my wife and son's future.. I need to live..and win.

"A war? With Red Moon Pack? At dawn?" I screeched loudly, as I break the glass I'm holding letting the blood pour from my hands down to the carpeted floor.

"Yes sir.." Rex stutter. I let out a breath of air as I plop down on one of the couch.

I'm not even prepared to met them, even though I promised that I need to met them tomorrow. And now because of this upcoming bullshit I need to come today because as Rex said I need to let them know that they have the support of the Council.

"Great, just f*****g great.."

"You don't have a choice Raffy, you are the leader so suck it up!" Letty exclaim as she came in holding a small plate full of pastries.

"I know, and before you b***h on me I'm really going. And you Letty are coming too!" I snap at her.

She almost choke on her cake, and I click my tongue when she didn't die because of it. I just hate her sometimes.

Stupid immortal...

"Why do I have to go?" She whine..

Actually whine like a small kid while she stomps her feet. "Of course you need to go. Letticia your becoming fat and you need to exercise and here's your chance to help and exercise at the same time..."

Her eyes dilated as her nostrils flare and glare at me hatefuly. Slamming her plate on the table, she jab her fingers at my chest and begin to curse me with every language that she knows.

"Stop it Letty.." I state coldly as I caught her fingers and shove it away. "I need your help that's why. You know that they have witches on their side, and you being one will be a big help.."

She huff angrily as she took her plate again and begin to shove all the food down her throat.

"Okay..I don't have any choice anyway.." She exclaim defeatedy between chewing. "But you owe me one.. Thank God, I really love that evening dress that I saw online, but you see its too expensive for me."

My jaw clench when that words came from her.. The f**k?!

"Please..." She pouted as her lower lips begin to tremble. Her eyes become larger as it start to glisten with unshed tears. I cringe when she starts crwling towards me while her face remain looking like that.

My back touch the armrest of the couch and I know I'm trap. Looking back at her, droplets of tears begin to flow on her cheeks, and my heart twinge.

"Okay fine!" I snap at her, then her face change its expression as she smile at me evilly.

"Its good doing business with you.." She state as she stand up and begin to walk away.

"Wait, how much is it?" I ask as I get my messenger back on the floor and take out my checkbook.

"Oh, its $ 5,000.."

"What kind of dress is that? That's a lot!" But the devil just look at me with an evil glint on her eyes.

Ugh..that's why I hate her!

I think I need to ask Kim how to kill immortals like her...
