The last time Felix and I had s*x sober was during the whole Ava situation. Tensions were high between everyone and we, the doctors, were all being investigated for the missing drugs at work. News of Ava’s disappearance hit everywhere and the board at the hospital and the chief were able to put two and two together. The missing drugs and a missing Ava became a huge thing and they were investigating anyone and everyone who knew or was close to Ava with a lot of eyes on me, Art and Brandon. Even the board was having the chief looked at. Between that and everything else that happened, Felix stood up and took care of me.
I didn’t want him to but he is as stubborn as an ox and just as thick headed. He took me home and helped take care of me. He cooked me dinner and made sure I was okay.
