Seraphina and Rafe settled into their new environment with ease. They ate from their dishes and curled up in their beds while my family ate dinner together. Grandpa offered a prayer of thanksgiving for our new additions when we said grace and the atmosphere was peaceful in the home. I helped my mother and grandmother with the dishes after dinner, and we sat down to finalize plans for my birthday dinner. "Are you going to tell Raven about Joey?" my mother asked as we enjoyed tea together. "I think I will have to.
