Seraphina and Rafe settled into their new environment with ease. They ate from their dishes and curled up in their beds while my family ate dinner together. Grandpa offered a prayer of thanksgiving for our new additions when we said grace and the atmosphere was peaceful in the home. I helped my mother and grandmother with the dishes after dinner, and we sat down to finalize plans for my birthday dinner.
"Are you going to tell Raven about Joey?" my mother asked as we enjoyed tea together.
"I think I will have to. I would have worn the silver ring that Mrs. Foster had given me if Dad had not warned me. I'm not sure how to go about doing it. Any suggestions?" I asked.
"Tell her, but on the way to meet him, IF she is wearing something with silver. If not, wait until she meets him. Our Joey
