I completed all my chores in record time and packed an overnight bag for myself and one for Seraphina and Rafe. My parents reminded me to text them once I'd arrived and to be safe and have fun this evening. My mom had put together a Halloween-themed gift basket for Mr. and Mrs. Foster for me to thank them for hosting the birthday celebration for my friends and me. The cats did not want to go in their carriers, but I put them in the car for appearance's sake. Once we'd arrived at the Fosters, they were off in a flash, with Theo and Clover talking excitedly. The twins and I laughed at how amicable they were with one another, especially since Theo was usually so salty.
