River sat with Jason, Emily, and I for Drama today. It was no longer awkward between Jason and River, and it was nice to see them becoming friends. The teacher assigned another project to be completed in small groups instead of pairs. We all looked at each other and nodded. Jason went down to speak with the teacher to note that we were all working together and retrieved our assignments. We were to create a modern version of a scene from a Shakespearean play and perform it for the class. In our accompanying report, we were to identify how the play selected reflected its own time and culture. We were also required to note how we'd chosen to stage it to show its relevance to our society. We would have the rest of the week to research our chosen play and the relevant factors in its time period
