I did a double-take to ensure I was not seeing things and stared in disbelief at Bella. She looked so much like me, and her mannerisms were similar to mine! The striking similarity was entirely unexpected and shocking. I dropped the phone.
"Hey, where did you go?" Joey's voice came from the floor when the phone landed with a thud.
River gave me a curious look and picked up the phone off the ground.
"Hey Joey, it's nice to meet you. We've heard a lot about you, Anna, and Phoenix. We'd love it if you could join us on Saturday night. Jacob is coming, too. Sage mentioned that Clare's boyfriend is in the same program as her cousin," River said.
"I'm going to pass the phone to my sister so you two can chat," River added and thrust the phone at his sister.
