I did sleep soundly and woke up early feeling quite refreshed. Once I'd had my morning brew, I quickly ate breakfast, made my lunch for the day, and showered. I wore a floral skater dress, a blue jean jacket, and Doc Martens. After brushing my teeth and putting on minimal makeup, I grabbed my things and left for school. River was waiting for me again at my locker, and I greeted him with an ardent kiss. He groaned and pulled me closer to him, and I could feel the bulge that told me River was happy to see me, too. I stayed in his arms, my head resting on his chest and River's arms around me until we made our way to the first period. I could get used to these morning greetings!
