Chapter 20: It was just an Accident!

As Alexander continue to venture in the beast forest, he manage to find another yellow ranked beast and slay it. Now he only need to hunt one more yellow ranked beast and he will get another two gold. As he was in the good mood, he can’t help to hum while walking in the forest.

As he walks towards a river, he stumble upon a weird vine like plant beside the river shore. He walks toward it and asked the system to have it appraise “initializing appraise… appraisal will take 1 hour please wait.” Alexander smiled as he hit another jackpot. “hmm… is this the working of the luck status?” he can’t help but to think as recently, his luck is very good. After waiting for an hour “ding! Appraisal complete! ‘Ancient Vine Plant’ – this plant bear fruit called Ancient Fruit that can be used in apothecary also as a gourmet ingredient. It can also help a beast to under go evolution. The plant only bears fruit once every month but with correct process, it can be cultivated and mass produce it’s fruit.” As he read the description of the plant, he was shocked to discover this plant here in a remote forest.

As he already live 99 life times, he was not shocked about the effects of the ancient fruit. He once also eat an ancient fruit in the past but this is the first time he saw a plant. He also knew that this ancient fruit can help a red ranker beast to under go evolution into a beast warrior. And since we would be capable in mass producing this fruit, he was so happy that he may use all of his previous life time luck into discovering this plant. Hence he instructed the system to retrieve the plant.

After the retrieval of the plant, he decided to take a bath in the river since he already here. He remove his white top robe and his perfectly shape body was exposed. He looks himself in the reflection in the river “hmm… not bad!” he smiled and untie his hair and remove his pants as well. Though he is only 16 years old, Alexander’s current body is tall and with the strength and endurance stats are high, his physique has also changed. As he taking his time cleaning himself, he suddenly frown. He deepen his voice “Who’s there! Show yourself!” he remarked. There was no response. Since the intruder didn’t respond, Alexander has already pin point the location of the intruder or intruders as there seemed several of them hence he chose the weakest once which is a yellow peak ranker. He suddenly used blink get at the back of the intruder.

“who are you?” Alexander whispered to the intruder. When the intruder heard it, the intruder immediately react to dash forward before facing Alexander however Alexander already casted haste on himself hence he reacts faster than the intruder and caught its arm and push the intruder in the tree. “if you don’t tell me who are you, you will regret it.” Alexander threaten the intruder and raises his hand and circulate the energy into his hand. The intruder was wearing a hood, a purple loose robes and a purple veil so Alexander didn’t know who it was. The intruder still stayed silent but Alexander can hear that the intruder is gulping and breathing heavily. “don’t make it hard for yourself. Just tell me who are you and why are you here?” Alexander asked nicely this time but the intruder still didn’t say anything. Alexander sighed then and launch his palm towards the chest of the intruder. “paralyzing palm.” As his palm landed on the chest of the intruder, the intruder can’t help but groan. “ahh!” Alexander was shocked when he heard the intruders voice “you’re a girl?” before the intruder say anything Alexander groped the intruder’s chest and another groan was heard but this time it was a soft moan. “Holy sh*t! I’m sorry! It was just an accident!” he immediately remove his hand to the girl’s chest.

The girl wanted to cry out loud but she can’t as she can’t move a muscle due to the paralyzing palm but Alexander can see the tears falling down on the girls eyes. “I’m really sorry, here let me help you.” He poked her chest to released the effect of the palm then the girl finally cried out loud. “wuwuwu… I’m not gonna get married anymore wuwuwu… your so cruel wuwuwu…. p*****t… p*****t… bully! Wuwuwu… y-your thing… its so scary… wuwuwu…” the girl continues to cry and rant then in the distance “YOUNG MISS!!” Alexander heard it and panic. “come on don’t cry anymore. Hmm… here take this elemental beast meat. Since you are at the peak of yellow rank, this will help you to break through okay? Don’t cry anymore.” He give 2 small cloth sack to the girl which is the remaining elemental beast meat he has.

Alexander didn’t wait for the girl to stop crying and immediately took off. As he took off, numerous men in a bronze and silver armor arrived. “Young miss! Are you okay?” one of the guard in silver armor asked. The girl is still crying. The silver guard sighed and he carried the young girl “don’t cry anymore miss. Rest assured we will find the one who made you cry okay?” the girl nodded and point at the two small sack of meat. The silver guard man gestured to one of the bronze guard to check the sack. Upon checking it, the bronze guard was shocked. “ca-captain!” the silver guard raise its brow. “i-its elemental beast meat! Ann there’s a lot! It should be around 50 kilograms of meat here!” the bronze guard reported. The silver guard eyes lit up. “quickly! Bring it to the kingdom and ask the royal chef to prepare a dish for it for the young miss!” the silver guard instructed the bronze guard then he pass the young miss to the other silver guard. “vice captain, bring the young miss back. Ensure her safety! I will investigate who made the young miss cry as well as the rumors about the ancient vine plant.” The vice captain nodded and gestures to the troops to retreat.

In another place, “whew! That was close! I never thought I would encounter troublesome people here.” Alexander tidy up himself and continue to hunt a yellow ranker beast. After a few minutes of travelling, he found a cave in the nearby mountain. As he pondering if he would enter the cave or not, “ding! A precious item has been detected! Notice to host, please retrieve this precious item.” Alexander eyes lit up and with no hesitation, he venture off inside the cave.

As he enter the cave, it was so dark that even though he is already a blue ranker, his vision can only extends up to 10 yards. After a few minutes of walking, he arrive a forked route. Alexander sat in the middle and let his energy to sense each route. After checking, the left route wad a dead end while the right route has a big chamber it in hence he decided to venture to the right tunnel. Upon arriving at the entrance of the chamber, he felt that something was amiss hence he circulate his energy to his feet and fist and open the stone door.

As he open the door, he stumble upon a cathedral like interior and at the altar at the end of the chamber, there is a bronze egg-like resting. Alexander walks slowly, maintaining his vigilance. He arrived at the egg-like object and asked the system to appraise it. “Ding! Precious item detected! Initializing appraise skill… appraisal will take 12 days, 23 hours and 59 minutes. Notice to host to store the item in your ring storage while completing the appraisal.” When Alexander heard the amount of time needed to appraise the item, he was jumping in joy. “hahaha! I hit another jackpot! Maybe I should raise my luck stat more hahaha!” Alexander can’t helped but laugh out loud as he store the item in his ring however, his laugh was stop by a  beast growl behind him.

As he turn around he saw a beast with a lion with horns, wings and a scorpion tail. “holy sh*t! A peak red rank Manticore!” Alexander can’t help but cursed. “damn it! Why it has to be a Manticore! Sh*t,  sh*t, sh*t!!” Alexander profusely sweating while cursing. Without any notice, the Manticore already charge at him and raise one of its claws to s***h at him. With a ‘tsk’ Alexander perform his skill to evade. “Mirage!” Alexander was like a ghost evading the attacks of the Manticore. “I can’t go on like this.” He circulate his energy into his fist then release his 5 life times worth of killing aura. “Damn you! Deadly Seven!” Alexander dash forward and release 4 punch and 3 kicks with a force of 600 pounds at the fatal points of the Manticore. “Not yet!” he charge his energy on his right fist. “Far Fist!” as he release the skill, a thousand pounds of force landed on the Manticore making it flew away and collide with the chamber wall. “whew! My current body can’t still take too much.” He spit a mouthful of blood while panting in exhaustion.

He stare at the Manticore, which is not moving and sighed in relief. As he turn his back, the Manticore suddenly jump at him. As Alexander was not ready for this ambush, he can only circulate a bit of energy to guard. As the claws arrived, though he was able to guard against it, he was sent flying to the chamber walls. As he landed, he can’t stopped but puke blood. “Damn it!” Before he cursed further, the Manticore already arrived in front of him and swipe its claws and sent him far at the end of the chamber. As the Manticore is slowly walking to him, Alexander tries to stand up, he puke a mouthful of blood again. “sh*t! Am I going to die thus early?” he curses as he stare at the Manticore slowly walks towards him.
