Skylar's POV:
I was about to leave my house for school, but then I remembered my phone was upstairs. I ran up the stairs and into my room.
When I found my phone on my desk, I noticed the note that I found from inside my locker sitting on my desk. I inched my hand towards it and felt the rough torn edges of it before flipping it over to reveal the words.
Just like when I first saw it, I reread the words over and over until it fully sunk into my head. It still frightens me every single time I read it though. Can you blame me? The note is basically threatening me.
The note says that I have no idea what's heading my way and that I better watch my back. That clearly means the gang's plan is going into action and I've already gone through one of their attacks.
