I walked to my locker the next day at school and was greeted by Xavier. "Hey, Skylar. I haven't talked to you in a while." Xavier greeted me as I walked up to him. "Same here. What's going on with you these days?" I asked as I opened my locker. "Same old stuff. School work, work at home, other stuff. You?" He asked. "Exactly the same as you." I said truthfully. "Well, do you want to meet up after school today?" He asked. I looked at him with my eyebrows furrowed. "Why the sudden invite?" I asked curiously. "Because I wanted to know you more. I felt bad that we couldn't work on our homework together, so I'm hoping that this would make up for it." Xavier said. "Alright sure." I finally said. "Cool. I'll call you." He said.
