59. Run

I'm about to go tell the girls I'm back to work when Dipak comes in.

"Did you eat lunch yet sweetheart?"

"No, I guess I forgot that. What are you out doing?"

"We're going to do some testing with that cream."

My eyebrows shoot up and I throw my arms around him. "No, you'll get hurt. You can't do that."

I hear him chuckle as he wraps his arms around me. "Not on me princess."

"Oh sorry." We both let go and he stands there smiling at me.

"But." He throws a jar up in the air and catches it. Then he leans against my desk. "I wanted to know if you would put some of this cream on my back in case it hits me there."

I freeze solid and swallow very hard. I must stare at him for a full minute. "Well I am a doctor." It's all of the words that will come out of my mouth. I can't think of any other ones.

He stands up straight then pulls his shirt over his head. I know he's watching my eyes to see what I'm looking at or if they get dark. I am nearly positive they are pitch black in two seconds though.

I stare at him so hard. The man has muscles everywhere, even his stomach. I don't touch him. I'm pretty sure I'm about to start drooling. I want to touch him so much, so, so very much.

"Hey doctor?"

"Yep." I don't even glance up from his chest. He hands me the jar. "My back doctor."

"Ok." I get some of the cream on my hands and he turns around. My eyes could seriously pop out of my head. He has muscles back here too. His shoulders and arms are perfection. I stand there staring at him. This man is amazing.

"On my back doctor."

I rub the cream on my hands together then put them on his back. The second I touch him, I see him start to tense up. I can do this. I'm a doctor. I run my hands all over his back and shoulders. I get his sides and the backs of his arms. The back of his neck. His body is amazing. Neither of us say anything while I rub the cream on him.

He turns around and his eyes are pitch black. I know mine have been for quite awhile now.

He picks me up and sits me on my desk. Then steps right up against me so he's between my legs. I can feel he's hard again. I want this man with every fiber of my being. I wrap my arms around his neck as he starts to lean closer to me. I wrap my legs around his waist. I never want him to back up. Not even an inch. I love feeling him so close to me. Our lips almost touch.

"DIPAK GET OUT HERE NOW!"

I remove my arms and legs from him. He puts his forehead on mine for a second. "My dads here Dipak."

He backs away from me and throws his shirt back on. "Yea I really didn't know that he was supposed to come here."

I start laughing and put the veil over my head. I hold the jar up. "Would you like me to put some cream in your eyes sir?"

He starts to laugh then looks down trying to calm himself.

I put my gloves on. "Go before you get killed. They're clear. And I am the doctor. If you need more cream you know. Just takes me a few minutes to remember what I'm doing sometimes."

He walks out laughing.

Mary comes in a few seconds later. "So tell me."

"I am never going to get that kiss."

She laughs and leaves.

I yell out in the hall. "I'm back in the office girls."

I hear them start cheering.

Dr. Cruor runs to my door. "Well if you're here I can do some paperwork." He runs off and I start laughing this time.

I go out to the nurses desk. After about 15 minutes, there is a commotion at the door.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH"

Tre and Dipak run in with a guard that is screaming. I run over to him and he's been stabbed in the stomach with one of the toes. I see it and yell. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"

"HELP ME PLEASE!"

"Room 6 guys. DORSETI ANTISTE IN 6!" I jump on the gurney on top of him. I'm straddling him. I rip his shirt right down the middle.

"DOCTOR PLEASE HELP!"

"Sorry but this is going to hurt." I pull it out and try to see in him.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! f**k!"

"ELKIE ANTIDOTE!" I might be able to put the antidote in the entry spot. It might work, or the intestines are going to have to come out. But I remember those blisters, they spread so fast. I hope they don't get to his heart. I don't know what would happen. "VITCHEN GET DR. CRUOR!"

"f**k! DOCTOR DO SOMETHING!"

The boys have got us in the room now. They lift both me and the guard up at the same time and put us on the regular bed. Elkie runs in and throws the antidote at me. I grab some and shove it in the hole.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! MAKE IT STOP PLEASE!" He starts sobbing. "PLEASE DOCTOR PLEASE!"

Dorseti runs in next. "It's ready doctor."

I take it and shove it in his neck. He goes unconscious immediately.

"f**k!" I jump off the side of the bed and grab my tools to cut.

"Princess I'm here. Report."

"Venomous toe to the stomach. I've put antidote in there. It didn't help. I'm worried doctor, the blisters travel so fast. I don't know what will happen if they reach his heart."

"We have to open him now."

I jump on the bed beside him and cut across his stomach where the toe went in. I pull all the skin back.

"His intestines are done princess. They need out now."

"It's not going to matter if we can't find where the blisters are at now."

"Your right. Elkie bone saw. We have to crack his chest open."

"Crack him doctor."

I hear the bones crack and flinch a little bit. Then I pull my side of his ribs out.

"The blisters are at the stomach, princess. I'm going to take it out before it spreads."

"WAIT! STOP!"

"What are you seeing?"

"Dr. Cruor, where I put the antidote in is clear." I point to the spot with the antidote. "The blisters are still moving outward but the antidote is following them and clearing them out."

"They are going to hit his heart in 30 seconds. Make the call."

Dipak and Tre are both staring at me. Dipak gives me his little nod he does.

I close my eyes for a second and take a deep breath. "Hands off. We see what happens." I can't imagine what I would do if it was one of them on this table. Wondering if blisters around his heart would kill him.

"10 seconds."

I open my eyes and watch. The boys step in closer.

"Blisters are on his heart." I'm just watching. "Antidote is still going."

"Antidote reaching the heart now."

Everyone in the room sucks in air.

I am watching this mans heart so close. "Heart clear."

I watch it for a few more seconds. "Someone get me a blood drip. Let's see if he lived."

Elkie has one set up in 3 seconds. "Here doctor."

I place it. It starts absorbing. Me and Dr. Cruor look at each other and then to the advisors.

Elkie shoves them. "RUN!"
