82. Some Place Snowy

Guards come in with two more chairs, followed by momma and Asa. The men all stand up when they walk in. Then they resituate themselves so daddy is on the couch with momma.

"Gentlemen what is the issue?"

"Bonding ma'am." Tre finally gets something out.

She glances from me to Tre. "Did we want to change that again?"

I shake my head no and sob harder.

"Someone is going to have to give us something more."

Dipak finally gets it out. "She wants to run again because she believes she won't be able to see the world or travel at all once she gets bonded. She thinks she'll have to stay here forever having babies."

Asa and mom both smile.

Asa kneels in front of me. "Princess you will want to have a child or even children with your mate. Eventually. But you don't have to start immediately. Dracul and I didn't decide to have Tre until we were together a long, long time. The relationship will progress into both of you wanting something more. You will have time with the two of you before it goes that far." She pulls my face up. "And the two of you get to decide when you're ready. A mate will not force you into something like being a mother. You will decide together to take that step."

Asa moves over and momma takes her spot. "My baby, I don't travel because I don't like it." She chuckles a little bit. "Your daddy built us this home so many years ago. I fell in love with all of it and never wanted to see anything else. If you want to travel, your mate will understand that. He may even go with you sometimes. And if I wanted to go somewhere, do you really think any of these men could stop me?"

I start laughing. "But it's was always such a hassle for you going anywhere with me and Clay."

"I don't like traveling princess. Traveling is hard on me. You and Clay didn't make it harder. It actually made it easier in ways. I got to see you two laughing in new places. That was nice. But it didn't change that fact that I am happy here."

Asa smiles at me. "A mate doesn't change who you are sweetie. You will still be this sweet beautiful girl. A mate simply is willing to do anything to make you happy. They always want to see you happy."

"Will I want to make him happy too?"

"Yes baby you will." Asa is so easy to talk to.

"So what if he wants a baby right away and I want to wait then we try to make each other happy and get all mixed up."

She smiles at me. "No princess. You will both know when the time is right. If you are not ready, he will know that. Even without you saying anything. And yes you will be able to tell that he wants a baby. But it will not change the fact that you are not ready. When you are both ready, it will happen."

Momma pours me, her, and Asa a glass of the wine she brought the other day. "I will get you another one." She hands us both a drink. "Once you are bonded. Your mate will have a dragon too. The two of you really will be able to travel all over the world. Enjoy each other for many years."

Asa downs half the glass. "And he'll want to make you happy. So you can drag that poor man everywhere."

Momma drinks her glass. "Keep up here." I down a glass. "And you know. He really will follow you around. You're going to have something he really likes." She hands me another glass.

"What is that?"

They all laugh except daddy. "Aurelia, Asa. Get back on track."

Asa scratches her head. "I forgot where the track was going."

I smile. "Oh some place snowy. Like north of here with snow all year round. We can see how they live."

Mom's confused. "The track was going somewhere snowy?"

The boys start laughing again.

"I think we all need another drink. I lost this conversation somewhere." She gets us another drink. "So where were we going?"

Asa smiles. "Somewhere snowy."

The boys lose it.

I nod. "Or hot with a beach for swimming all time."

Momma leans on daddy. "Yea I like beaches and swimming more than snow. Let's go swimming."

"Where momma?"

"We can go over by the river. Someone can make a fire. Maybe get us some boar to cook. Asa go get Dracul. Tell him we're going swimming. I'll go get another couple bottles of this. Stand on up child. You can swim in that. That'll work." I stand there with 1 glove, a little dress, no veil, and half drunk. "Go change into something else boys. We're going swimming now."

Asa busts out laughing. "I'll just have the guards summon Dracul to two doors down." She nearly falls on the floor laughing.

Then I laugh at her.

Dad shakes his head. "This is what we get for calling for help."

I hiccup and the 1 glove I had on falls to my wrist. I tilt my hand and let it drop. Then I grab my cup and down it. "I'M GOING SWIMMING!" I run out the door.

Tre chases me down the hallway and carries me back on his shoulder, then stands me in the middle of the floor. I nearly fall over laughing. "Do that again."

He motions for Dipak. "I can't. This is hilarious."

Dipak smiles. "You need to wait on us to change. You can't go out there alone."

"Ok." I get another glass.

"Why did I just get summoned from my sleep to the river?"

"We all bust out laughing." Dracul looks like he was sleeping on his face and his hair is all over.

Dracul looks at Asa. "No." Then he looks at Tre. "Bring your mother home alive."

"Yes sir."

Dracul leaves and Dipak looks at Tre. "I'll go change quick. Don't lose her."

I peek at Tre and take off running down the hallway again. He catches me and carries me back a couple times. Mom comes back with more bottles. Tre gets a couple big jugs of water. Asa is ready to go. She takes off running down the hallway. Tre takes off after her and I go the other way.

"DIPAK GET ONE!"

He steps out and grabs me right around the waist. He throws me on his shoulder. I can not stop laughing. Tre is carrying his mom the same way. "Thank you."

"No problem."

They take us back to my place and stand us up. We bust out laughing. When we stop laughing we do it again. They end up switched though. Now Dipak has Asa.

Dracul steps out in the hallway and see's Dipak with Asa. "What are you all doing out here?"

"She's a runner sir."

"Yea I know. Get them outside. They're to loud in this hallway."

"Yes sir."

We all get back to my place at the same time and Dipak nods. "Let's go."

They chase us out to the river. Tre goes to make a fire. Dipak goes to get a boar. Daddy gets the job of throwing me into the river over and over again.

"AGAIN DADDY!"

Mom and Asa are wading out a bit relaxing and drinking.

"AGAIN."

"Oh my princess you are getting to big for this."

"AGAIN!"

"How many times can you get thrown in there?"

Tre starts laughing. "7 hours worth sir."

"AGAIN!"

I hear Dipak start laughing too. He must be back with the meat.

"AGAIN!"

"Child I want to go sit with your mother."

"AGAIN!"

"BOYS! Your turn."

I stand on the boulder and watch my dad leave. "I'm going to cry."

Tre complains about Dipak having guts all over him. "Fine."

Tre comes out to the boulder and throws me in.

"Oh I want to try that. It seems fun." Asa runs over and Tre throws her in.

She comes out all excited. "Aurelia you have to try this."

"AGAIN!"

"Dipak I need assistance." Tre is not keeping up with the three of us.

I get out and run to a guard. Then right back to the line of being thrown. Dipak grabs me and launches me into the water. I flip a couple times before I even hit it. I get out laughing so hard I'm choking. "MORE!"

Gunner walks up to us on the boulders. "Advisor Tre, why did you summon me to the river for s*x at 2 in the morning?"

Mom starts laughing so hard she falls off the boulder and takes Asa with her. I bust out laughing so hard I could pee. Dipak nearly falls in.

Tre grabs me laughing. "YOU LITTLE..." He launches me like Dipak did. Except I think a little farther. I managed to get about three flips in.

Daddy comes. "Stop summoning people to random places. It is 2 in the morning."

"Sorry daddy it was an accident."

"Yea I could see how that could be accidental my princess." Then he goes back over to the shallow part.

Gunner laughs. "I'll cook the meat. She's about done."

"I'm thirsty."

Dipak watches me. "Stay away from the guards princess."

I give him a dirty look. "How did you know?"

I grab myself another drink and sit down by the fire. Gunner gives me some boar and I eat it and get warm. I lay down and hear him yell. "One down, 2 to go."
