2. My Spot

I pull out some papers and start filling them in. I can't help but think about Tre joining the Royal Guard. He's probably right. These werewolf attacks won't last ten years. By the time he is out of training, everything will be fine. Dad can have him stationed at the castle and we can stay together. Then in fifteen years, when I'm old enough to find my mate, we will be together. We will really be together then and no one will be able to tear us apart. Together forever.

"Little miss, I wanted to bring you some dinner. We've been here for hours. I know you have to be getting hungry."

"Thank you Mary. Did you all get something to eat as well?"

"Yes, we have some food at the desk."

"Great. I'm going to be awhile. I have to finish the papers. You are free to go when your done eating."

"Thank you."

I smile as she closes the door behind her. I put all the finished papers in my desk. I know she'll still wait for me. Everyone watches me and Tre so close when we're together. We have our ways around them though. Then I flip the switch on the bookshelf and watch it open. Then I step in the dark servant hallway and pull the shelf shut behind me. I know exactly how to get to the yellow sitting room from here. That's why he picked it. Go down two flights of stairs. Then to the end of the hall. Enter the empty office. Sneak across the hall into the other empty office and open the bookshelf there. Walk almost to the end of the hall again and push open ... here.

Tre jumps in the dark hall and wraps his arms around me. "I thought you got lost princess."

I pull the veil off and put my lips on his. I feel his teeth against my bottom lip and I part my lips for him. I know that's what he wants. It's what I want too. To taste him with kisses and to feel him pressed against me.

He lays his head on mine. "I have missed this princess. I've missed you."

I run my fingernails across his neck where my mark will sit in fifteen years.

His whole body shivers. I see his eyes go dark before he closes them and holds me tighter. "Better to stay off that spot. I don't think I can keep control long when you touch it."

I make a pouty face. "But that's my spot, Tre."

He smiles and kisses me again. "Show me my spot then. I need to kiss it."

I try to back up. He's never touched my neck before. I don't know what will happen. What if I lose control?

He holds me by my waist so I can't back up to far. "Show me princess. Which side do you want my mark on? You pick."

I tilt my head to the side and show him my bare neck. I swear his eyes go dark again. Then he starts to lean into me. I feel his lips touch my neck. It feels amazing. I want more. I grab the back of his head and try to press his lips closer to my neck. I press my breasts into his muscly chest. I don't know what I'm doing but I need him closer.

He chuckles a little bit then puts a little tiny kiss on my neck. "My spot."

"More Tre."

"No more." He starts rubbing my arms. "Relax princess. I shouldn't have done that. I got you all worked up."

"But."

He shakes his head no, picks up my gloved hands, and kisses them. "I have missed you princess."

"But."

He laughs and helps me put the veil back on. Then leads me into the yellow sitting room. "They will be here looking for you any time."

He sits down in a chair and I sit on his lap.

I think it shocks him for a second. But he recovers quick. "The guards won't like that princess." He adjusts his body under me. "But I surely do."

I smile and move the veil just enough that I can get my lips on his neck. I give my spot a little kiss. "My spot."

He grabs me and pulls me closer to him for a few seconds. "Princess..." He smirks and shakes his head. "Someday."

I hear someone walking down the hall and I move over to another chair and make sure the veil is covering me.

"It's fine. Although I can't wait to rip it off you."

"Someday."

"Someday I'll rip everything off you and really make you mine."

I give him a weird look as the door flies open. Not sure how all that works, I guess.

"Princess how did you get out of the medical area?"

"The door."

Mary crosses her arms.

"You were all busy and talking. I came here for some quiet time with Tre, so I didn't say anything. I do wish to go get cleaned up though. Will you assist me please?"

"Of course little miss."

I stand up and kiss Tre on the cheek threw the veil. "I'll see you tomorrow sir."

"I can't wait baby."

I pass right out after I get cleaned up. That was a long day. The next morning, Mary gets me dressed and down to breakfast.

"Hi sister. Will you be coming to the fields today?"

"Yes, I heard you had an announcement. What is going on?"

"You will have to wait and see."

I'm pretty sure one of his horses is pregnant. All these years and he has finally found a horse he actually likes. "Ok brother. I will wait and see."

"When is Tre officially joining the guards and starting training sister? I was hoping to do some fishing with him before he starts."

"His training starts in two days. He will be there today too. I told him there was an announcement."

Clay gets a big smile. "Thank you sister. Oh and I can't do your bow and arrow training this afternoon, I have to much stuff I need to get traded."

"I understand brother. I will practice on my own a bit." I sit down with my breakfast and start to eat. "I'll let Tre know you want to fish before his training starts."

"Thank you sister. I'll see you on the field in two hours." He runs out of the royal area and slams the door.

Momma comes in and starts eating with me. "Good morning princess."

"Morning momma."

"What are you doing this morning?"

"I'll probably go for a ride then to Clay's announcement. Tre is busy with guard stuff but said he would meet me at the fields. Will you be there, mother?"

"Yes I will. I'll be sitting beside your father."

I laugh. "I think it's his favorite horse is pregnant."

My mom snorts and almost chokes on her blood. "Oh you children keep me on my toes. I guess I will congratulate him and get him a new saddle or something."

"Yea, that would be a good gift." I put my plate on the counter. "I'll see you there momma."

"Enjoy your ride princess."
