72. Vows

I sit at the table for a second with red eyes. "Yes, Advisor Dipak, I do. Give me a moment. This is a lot going on again."

"Princess."

"Vampire King Miculai Sandu. Sorry sir, I need to feel the room. I need the emotion. This is a lot. She's never felt like this for me. I don't know what it is."

"Go ahead princess. But I think I already know."

I stand up on the table and take off the veil and gloves. I go to Tre. I kneel on the table in front of him and put my hands in his hair. "Interesting. You are holding back a lot of power sir. You're holding back a lot of everything. A king does not hold back. Work on that." He nods.

I move to Gunner and feel his head for a couple of seconds. I smile at him. "You're probably the most well adjusted person I've ever met sir. Especially considering you live in this mess." They all start laughing.

I put my hands on Daddy's head. "It is not the end sir. More of a new beginning. And not to worry, you will have grandbabies someday."

They all start to laugh as I switch to Dracul. "Wow, aren't we mad? You have a lot of anger, Dracul. I have to get through that. Ok you feel the princess belongs to Tre and should be locked in a tower until they bond? Is that it? You have to let go. They were best friends for hundreds of years. That closeness will return eventually. They have taken a pretty hard hit. They need to work it through. You being mad will not help them." I turn and see Tre smiling. "Behind the anger is fear. You are afraid that Tre will end up raising a child that his not his own."

He nods as I move to Dipak. I see fear in his eyes. "Oh this won't hurt sir." I put my hands on his head. I stay there for a long time. Then I stand up and go back to my seat.

"Did you get what you needed princess?"

"Yes, Vampire King. I believe I did. Thank you. The theme of the week seems to be babies. I can end a lot of the issues in the room right now."

"Please do princess. I'm not sure how much more of this we can handle."

I move to the center of the table and kneel down for my father. "Vampire King Miculai Sandu, I vow to take the life of any man who attempts to the take the princess's virginity. Any man at this table or away from it, will die before he succeeds. The princess will remain a virgin until her bonding night."

"Thank you princess."

"You are welcome. But you need to be aware. She has always wanted to remain pure for her bonding night. She really does want to wait. And these men have made no attempt to take that from her. They do respect her."

"Thank you princess." My daddy is getting teary again.

I go back to my seat. "As for the other stuff... Have fun. I really don't care." I smile. "It's a fun show. But her virginity will only be taken by my king. Feel a little better now Advisor Dracul?"

"Yes thank you princess."

I laugh a bit. "Also 100 hours is a long time. If he dies, it may not be because of the virginity thing. I may just be tired of looking at him."

They all start laughing, even Dipak.

Dipak looks at me. "Anything else?"

I glare daddy. "IN THE DINING ROOM? ARE YOU SERIOUS? WE EAT THERE. I MEAN... EVEN THE WALLS?"

They all bust out laughing.

I shake my head. "Poor traumatized child. Make a new dining room away from the royal hall for us all to eat at." I point at Dipak and then his paper. "Write that down. New dining room away from royal home for everyone to eat at." I go behind him and watch him write it. "Good." I point at all of them. "Sign that into order today."

Tre laughs. "Yes ma'am."

I smack Dipak on the shoulder. "I'm going to fall now." Tre gives me a funny look. "Last time I fell between all 3 of you. None of you idiots could catch me. f****d my head for 2 days." Dipak stands up and puts his arms around me. I release the power.

I wake up in Dipak's office again. I'm on the couch and he is sitting with me. My legs are on his lap and he has a book he's writing in. He's really focused on it. Doesn't even know I'm awake. I watch him for a couple minutes then throw my arms up. I stretch my whole body. "I guess I took a nap sir."

"You passed out at the meeting baby. You ok now?"

"I feel fine. I felt fine before too though. Did I miss anything?"

"Not really. You're moving to the advisor hall. We are waiting to hear back from Omar. New dining room is being made."

"Oh that's good. Not sure I can ever look at the old one again."

The servants bring in some food. "I got us some lunch. Then I imagine you will want to see where you live now."

I can't help but give him a big smile.

He helps me up. Then we eat. I can tell something isn't right.

"What's bothering you? You're the one who is to quiet today."

"I worry I was to rough with you last night. I..." He shakes his head.

I sit on his lap and give him one of those gentle and slow kisses. "I enjoyed every minute with you last night sir. You were not to rough with me. I really do enjoy being in your arms. Next time I wake up before you, I will wake you up and tell you I'm leaving. That way you are not left to worry."

He gets the biggest smile on his face.

"What?"

"You said next time."

I smile. "Yea I guess I did."

There is a knock on the door and I move back over to my food.

"Enter."

Dracul comes in. "The princess's apartment on the advisor level is ready Dipak."

"Thank you. I'll take her over."

He shuts the door behind him.

I sit there very confused.

"What baby?"

"He didn't seem angry at all that I'm in here. Or that I'm with you. Or at all. Dipak, he didn't seem angry at all. I haven't seen that man not angry, in like 100 years."

He starts laughing. "We all worked some stuff out today princess. I think you'll find a lot of the anger is gone."

This is confusing.

"Let's go check out your place baby."

I jump straight up. Then I jump up and down a couple times. "I am so excited."
