I slumped on the couch facing the girl on the bed. She was cute, I must agree on that but I wanted to figure out what was about her that made him behave strange.
He acted protective about her. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t known him from past many years. He acted reckless while his eyes and body said differently. The changes were minor; negligible but not hard to notice by me.
The phone rang breaking my reverie. My eyes traveled to the nightstand as I headed to pick it.
