Meg was in a dark empty street, running, breathless and exhausted threatened to crush her. Each breath she drew made it feel like her lungs were on fire but she didn't stop. Couldn't stop. It was following her. And it never stopped, never got tired. It was thirsty for her blood just as it was eager with the anticipation to tear into her flesh and gnaw on her bones. She knew it was trying to smell her out in this darkness, sniffing her fear in the night air made it euphoric and eventually, it would grow bored of toying with her and find her. She let out a blood-curdling scream when the creature leaped out of the darkness..... She woke up with a start her heart pounding frantically the sweat on her face made her hair stick to her forehead . 'It was just a dream,just a dream' she
