15 ZEKE I skipped church on Sunday since I couldn’t bear the thought of seeing Levi—or Lily again for that matter. But her father had asked me for one last counseling session for the two of them that week. Unable to give a reason to deny his request, I agreed. Running didn’t empty my mind or exhaust my body, and by Wednesday morning, I crawled out of bed, bleary-eyed.
