Chapter Four
Jesse was trying very hard not to bounce around in his seat as they rolled up to Stephanie’s apartment building, but it wasn’t easy. Friday had taken forever to come along, and now that it was here he just couldn’t wait to see her. See her, with Grant. Play together. He wiggled and could only give an apologetic shrug when Grant tossed a glance at him.
“You stay here, I’ll go get her,” Grant said, completely ignoring the frown Jesse tried to give him.
With a sigh, he fell back into the seat and jiggled his legs. With Grant gone, at least he could give his body the freedom of nervous energy. Not that he was nervous. Exactly. He just wanted everything to go perfectly. Wanted them all to have as amazing a time as he knew that they could.
