The next morning I was up bright and early. The shower, which was big enough to fit four of me, comfortably, had a bench that I took advantage of, and sat on during the majority of my shower. Once I thoroughly washed myself and my hair, I got out and dried off. Walking back into the changing area of the bathroom, I smiled at Draco who passed me as he went to go and start on his hygeine. "Morning, love." He said before disappearing into the shower room. As I brushed my hair and put it into a messy bun, ontop of my head, I smiled to myself. I couldn't believe my life so far. Draco and I were together and probably would be after we graduated Hogwarts. He even said he would try out the muggle world with me and go to a University if that is what I wanted to do.Shockingly, no matter how amazing and magical the wizarding world was, part of me wanted to go. Since today was supposed to be unnaturally warm for being October, I dressed in a denim tunic shirt, black leggings, a cream colored cable knit cardigan and brown boots. As I had just slipped into my boot and rose to my feet, Draco came out of the shower room, a towl wrapped at his waist. "Breakfast and then the doctors." He said as he pulled on his boxers, khaki's, polo shirt and socks. "I'm not feeling very hungry this morning. Maybe skip breakfast and then we can walk over, then grab a heavy lunch?" I suggested. I began putting on my face moisturizer as Draco slipped on his shoes. "Sure, sounds as good as any other plan." Ten minutes later, after we had gathered everything we would need for the day, we left the hotel building. Draco took my hand into his and we set off on our mile and a half walk to the medical building. It was fifteen minutes before our appointment was scheduled to begin when we arrived. When we entered into the building there were several couples there, all looking to be in their late 20's to early 30's. I walked up to the receptionist and signed in. "Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy, here to see Mrs. Perkins." "Oh, you must be from that private school with all the young pregnant couples right?" She asked me. "I heard that she would be busy the entire week doing ultrasounds on twenty students." I looked at Draco and then back to the receptionist. "Um. Yes." At the second the baby kicked hard, causing me to gasp as I brought my hand to my stomach. "Oh, wow. That was a strong kick." I breathed. She handed me a clip board with a few papers that needed to be filled out. "It's wonderful that even though you got pregnant in Upper School, that you both are together and finishing your education. Most young girls that get pregnant by their boyfriends get left to raise it alone and they end up dropping out. You are definitely lucky." Draco quickly put his arm around my waist and kissed my cheek. "I'm the lucky one." He said before we left to go and take our seats. I began filling out the paperwork. When I was finished I took it back up to the receptionist and then went back to my seat. I picked up a magazine from the table beside me and opened it. After flipping through a few pages I overheard the couple nearest us, talking. "That is Jean and Lucas Granger's daughter, right there. I can't believe she went and got herself knocked up before she finished school. I thought that girl had a brain. I mean, her parents always bragged about how she was smart and at the top of all of her classes in every school year..." The woman whispered to her husband. "Hmm. What a pity. She was in my classes until she turned 11. She was very smart for her age. Getting pregnant at her age, before she has made a career for herself. Poor girl just threw away her life." Her husband responded. I clenched the magazine tightly, causing it to shake. I couldn't believe they were saying those things about me. I wanted so badly to stand up for myself and my parents but there was only so much I could say. "Hermione Granger." A woman's voice called from a door to my right. I quickly closed the magazine and set it down before getting to my feet. I paused, to wait for Draco, and then we followed the woman through the doors. She led us to a room that had a examination table with stirups on the ends. "Sit here, the doctor will be right with you." She told us before closing the door. I sat at the edge of the examination table, while Draco took to a chair close to me. Then, in seconds, there was a knock on the door. "Hello!" The woman, I knew to be Mrs. Perkin's, greeted with a large smile. "Hi." "So, I take it you are here to find the gender of your baby, right?" She asked as she helped me to lay back on the table. I nodded my head. "Any hopes? Boy or girl?" She asked as she adjusted my shirt so she had access to my stomach. "Boy, definitely a boy." Draco said. "A boy, for sure." I smiled as Draco took my hand into his. "Have you two picked out any names?" She asked as she put some clear gel on my stomach. "Alexander Draco Malfoy, for a boy." I replied as she took the probe and began rubbing around on my stomach. In the next moment a moving picture appeared on the small computer screen. "Ahh, there is the head, the torso, the little arms." She said as she began moving around the probe on my stomach. "And the legs." She clicked a few buttons and the picture zoomed in. She moved the probe around a little bit more and then smiled. "Congratulations, it is a girl." She beamed before removing the probe and wiping it with a sterile wipe. She then handed me a wipe to remove the remainder of the gel from my stomach. After my shirt was back down over my stomach I sat up. "Are you sure? It's definitely a girl, right?" "It is definitely a girl. See." She said as she pointed to the screen where you could see the s*x organs. Draco brought my hand to his lips and kissed it. "Eleanor." I cooed as I began rubbing my stomach. "Our little Eleanor." Mrs. Perkin's printed out our ultrasound pictures and put them in an envelope before giving them to us. After she took my vitals she deemed us done with our appoinment. When we went back into the waiting room to leave, the couple that had been talking bad about me, before we were called back, greeted me. "Oh, Hermione, it's so wonderful to see you!" The woman said, bringing me into her arms. "I was just telling Morgan that I thought you looked familiar and then I heard them call your name and I knew it was you. How are your mother and father doing?" she asked me. A gently as I could I pushed her away from me. "My mother and father wouldn't approve of me disrespecting my elders but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and I gotta tell you that you are a vile woman." She gasped. "I beg your pardon?" "I overheard you talking ill of me. And just so you know, I am still at the top of my class and have been since I started school. So you can shove off." I gave her the finger and then turned and left. After we were out on the street again, I paused and slumped against the wall. I brought my hands to my face and groaned. "Merlin's Beard, I can't believe I just did that." "Who was that woman?" Draco asked. "And what do you mean she spoke ill of you?" "That woman was my mothers best friend and her husband my fathers best mate. He caught her cheating on him, when he went over to their house, unannounced. My father did the right thing and told him what his wife had done but he didn't believe him so they had a falling out and never spoke again." "You remember that? How old were you?" I shrugged my shoulders. "This was just before I started Hogwarts. I overheard my parents talking about work and the tension because they all work together in the same Dentist building." "Well, if she did the things you said she did, she is a vile woman." He put his hand on my shoulder. "And she deserved that telling off you had given to her." Draco pulled me to his chest and wrapped his arms around me. "Time to get some lunch and then go shopping for our daughter." Once Draco released me we made our way down the street towards the shopping district in London. Along the strip there were several bistro's. We picked a decent one that was pretty slow in its business and grabbed a bite to eat. I had a turkey sandwich with tomato, spinach, onions and pepper jack cheese on pumpernickle bread and a side of broccoli soup. Draco had a ham and cheese on rye and we ate in silence. After the chewed and swallowed my final bite we were off to go do some shopping. The first store we stopped in we spent over two-hundred pounds. We bought cute outfits for our Eleanor from sizes newborn to 7. A lot of the outfits Draco picked out were made from high quality fabrics like silk and egyptian cotton. I told him he was being rediculous with his purchases but he rolled his eyes. The second store carried accessories along the lines of high chairs, cribs, baby baths, bottles, diapers, etc. This store we spent almost 1,000 pounds. The third store carried alot of things for older children but all he did was make a list for future reference. His plans were to hire a private wizard shopper to go back later and purchase them and send them via owl, to Hogwarts. After that store we visited two more. When we finally finished the baby shopping, Draco and I had spent almost 5,000 pounds. We took our things straight to the Post in Diagon Alley and had them shipped back to our home at Hogwarts. When we were done with that we decided to go to the Leaky Cauldron to tell our friends of the good news. When we entered, several of our friends were crowded around one of the long wooden tables. Several mugs of what I assumed to be pumpkin juice sat to the left of their plates. "Hey, Draco, Hermione, come sit and celebrate with us!" Neville said as he rose from his seat and offered it to me. "What exactly are we celebrating?" I asked, looking to Luna for answers. "Our daughter." She said in her airy voice as she rubbed her stomach. "Little Evangeline." I brought my hand up to my stomach and smiled. "That is wonderful! Our daughters are going to be the best of friends, I just know it!" I said, excitedly. "Oh, you are having a girl too?" She asked. "Yup, Eleanor." Draco said. The way he said her name was the way one would explain a goddess. Proud. I turned to look at Draco just as Neville patted him on his shoulder. "Looks like our ladies are going to be spending a lot of time together, eh Draco." Neville said. "Do you know anyone else who is having a girl?" I asked Luna. "Parvarti and Dean, Cho and Garret. They were the only others who had appointments today. Faye and Seamus are tomorrow." The rest of the day blew by very fast as we talking about our upcoming labor charms. There was no doubt that we were were scared and if anyone had denied it -which they didn't- we all knew it was a lie. An hour before we had to head back to our hotel for curfew the crowd at the table dispersed and broke off into smaller parties. Now it was just Draco, myself, Neville, Luna, Seamus, Faye, Dean and Parvarti sitting together. "So, how is the muggle hotel?" Faye asked from her spot beside Parvarti. Just like they previously agreed to do, they roomed together so they didn't have to share a room with their partners. This left Dean and Seamus sharing. "Well, when we first arrived they told us our room was double booked. We would probably be back here, sharing with someone if it wasn't for Draco. He put on a snobby act and landed us a pent house on the top floor. It is really beautiful." "Wow, you are so damn lucky. I sorta wish I had gotten Draco as a partner. Then he would be wooing me." Faye replied. She let out a sigh as she turned to stare adoringly at Draco. My face began to heat up at the mention of her wishing she had Draco. Just the thought of him with another person bothered me. "Draco isn't doing this stuff because we are just partners. He actually likes me." I responded to her. Her eyes widened. "Draco...." She glanced over at him. He was busy, chatting with Neville, Dean and Seamus. "Hermione, Draco is a pureblood." "This I know." "Then, you should know that the Malfoy's don't associate, romantically, with muggle borns, let alone half-bloods. Seriously, sweetheart, don't get to close because I don't want you to get hurt." I looked over at Draco, again. This time he caught my eye and smiled before turning back to his conversation. "Draco loves me." Faye leaned forward and placed her hand on my shoulder. "Sweetie, Draco doesn't love you. The ways the Malfoy's are with bloodstatus, he is incapable of having emotions with a mudblood." She leaned back. "Plus, if anyone in this year has a chance with him, it is me. I mean, after all my blood is pure, just like his." She said proudly. I rose swiftly to my feet. In one fluid movement I rose my mug of butter beer and tossed it in her face. "UGH!" Faye screamed as she jumped to her feet, wiping her face. "You filthy mudblood!" She snapped. My breath hitched at the sound of her words. Faye was the last person I had ever expected to call me that. The entire room was quiet. "What is going on here?" Draco asked as he joined my side. "This freak just threw her drink in my face!" Faye snapped. "I suprisingly found myself wanting to do the same all damn week." Seamus said as he joined the ruckus. "You have been nothing but a pain in my rear since this project began. You are never happy, no matter what I try and do for you." Faye crossed her arms and looked between me and Seamus. "Wow... you mudbloods really don't know your place in this world, do you? Just because Voldemort is gone doesn't mean you are all on the same level." She snapped. Then her eyes fell on me. "Especially you, Granger. When this school year ends your little fantasy with Draco will too. He has no place for a mudblood in his life." I felt my face flush from humiliation. Then Draco took a step forward. "Call her a mudblood, one more time, Faye, I dare you." he threatened. This took Faye by surprise. "If your father was here he-" Draco too another step forward. He was now inches from her face. "I don't give a damn what my father would think. It may have slipped your mind, but he is locked up in Azkaban for the rest of his life. He no longer controls me." Before Faye could respond, Draco put his arm around my waist and steered us in the direction of the door. He stopped at the threshold "Hey, Neville, Luna, do you wanna walk with us?" He asked. The two quickly joined our side and then we left, to go back to the hotel.
