As I scoped out another location to settle down, Joe Cocker was announced. I managed to find a spot under a tree—pretty lucky, actually—and got comfortable. There were two couples nearby, completely unaware of their surroundings as they got real close to each other. I glanced to my left and saw two bodies kneeling underneath a tarp. I could smell the weed they were smoking. I leaned against the trunk at my back and let my mind wander where it would.
