“Drink this,” Prince Daniel broke the silence between us. He brought me to their palace and now I’m inside a guest room. He was handing me a glass of water after the maid brought it for me.
“Thank you,” I whispered after accepting the glass. I immediately drank it all up and squeezed my eyes closed.
I still feel bothered with the news about King Ragriel and his mate. He found her last night but I was with him the whole night. It just doesn’t add up. I’d accept it if he found her this morning after I left but the guard told Prince Daniel that he found her last night. Was that a lie?
