Amaris' POV
I ran towards him at a fast pace. I kneeled beside him and looked at his body. He's fully naked and it's making my cheeks blush. However, I tried ignoring the distracting length between his legs as I heard him continue groaning in pain.
I swallowed hard as I cupped his cheeks, "Y-Your majesty…"
Slowly, he opened his eyes and our gazes met. I felt like my heart fell when I saw pain in his eyes. Of course, he'd feel pain. He's still a human in spite of his beastly attitude.
"Why did you do that?" I asked with a hoarse voice, pertaining to what he did just to save me.
He didn't say a word. He just squeezed his eyes closed and pressed his lips together as if suppressing his painful groans.
