Amaris' POV
Prince Daniel shot an eyebrow up and stared down at me when I lifted my face to look at him. I looked down again, thinking he'd hit me when he lifted his arm but I was taken aback when his fingers touched my chin and lifted my face. Our gaze met and then he slowly smirked.
"I see you're the same maid Ragriel protected last night. You taste so delicious, sweetheart."
I gasped because of his rudeness. I took a step back to avoid his touch but he suddenly held my wrist and pulled me closer to him. My senses have improved but my body is still weak as a wolf-less rejected Luna. I couldn't do anything when he wrapped his arm around my waist and his other hand removed my hair from my neck and smelled me.
