Naksh extended the bouquet to Advaita and said, "Get well soon Advaita. I've been so worried about you for so long. It was very difficult to see you in this condition, so I did not come to meet you even once in the hospital, but today Papa told me that you are out of danger, so I immediately came to check on you."
Advit, grinding his teeth, said to Shivansh, "How can anyone be so shameless? Look how perfectly Naksh is acting. How can someone be so fake? Today, if my sister is in this situation, it is because of Naksh. Those clients were familiar with Naksh yet he never told Advaita that they were not coming and even after Advaita requested him, he did not come to help her and did not tell her about the clients."
Shivansh agreed and said "It's true. At this moment, Naksh appears to be the most innocent person in the world as he stands before us. Until now, Anshika Aunty saw him as a good boy, unaware that he was a wolf in sheep's clothing. But let's put all that aside for now and focus on Advaita's reaction."
Advaita gazed at Naksh in astonishment. How was it possible for him to act so convincingly? Perhaps he had been doing this for years and thus knew precisely when, where, and how to behave. Advaita felt an intense urge to strangle Naksh right then and there, but his mother was present, so Advaita remained silent.
Anshika looked at Advaita and then asked Naksh, "Naksh, can you tell me what happened the day the clients didn't come and why you left Advaita alone?"
Naksh innocently replied "Well, I don't want to tell you this, but I shouldn't hide it from you. That day, I fought with Advaita and she asked me to leave. I don't know why and how Advaita took drugs after that."
After listening to this, Advit was so angry that he wanted to kill Naksh. Advit moved forward angrily but Shivansh grabbed his hand and stopped him.
Shivansh whispered gently "Stop it Advit. Today, I want to see how shameless this person will be in front of everyone. Let's see how far he'll go."
Raising an eyebrow, Anshika asked, "Are you sure that Advaita herself took drugs?"
Naksh shook his head and said, "Not sure. It appears that Advaita may have overdosed on drugs. Oftentimes, when a drug-addicted person is extremely angry, they consume large amounts of drugs to alleviate their emotional distress."
Advaita was surprised when Naksh lied without hesitation. Advit, Shivansh, and Anshika doubted his involvement in Advaita's case.
Suddenly, Advit asked, "How is Samriddhi? I heard she was injured and you took her to the hospital."
Naksh asked in an innocent tone, "Was Samriddhi hurt? When? How could I not know? Who told you all this?"
Shivansh laughed heartily and said, "Oops, he is trapped. Now let's see how long it is going to lie."
Anshika pretended to think for a while and said "Strange. Samriddhi was fine, yet she did not give any response to the clients on the pretext that she was in the hospital. Then, suddenly, you and Advaita also quarrel and you leave her alone. And now you're claiming that she might be a drug addict, so it means that my daughter roams around with drugs day and night in the morning and evening, so how did I not know about this till date?"
Naksh's mother Namrata interrupted, "Why are you asking this question to Naksh? Is he your daughter's bodyguard or a personal assistant who keeps an eye on the arrival of clients? Your daughter is very irresponsible and that is why I am very worried about Naksh's future."
Advaita laughed a little and said "Now you don't have to worry about your son's future at all, Aunty. I'm breaking up this relationship. There will be no engagement next year and no wedding in the future."
Naksh and Namrata looked at Advaita in surprise and then at Anshika, who seemed not to mind hearing this. Namrata did not like Advaita, so she kept on insinuating Advaita every time she got a chance. Namrata had taken advantage of Anshika's emotional side many times and the same thing was happening even today.
It was not that she was against this relationship, but she enjoyed demeaning Anshika. Namrata did not like the fact that Anshika was more successful than her. She knew that Anshika wanted to fulfill the promise to Aniruddha and, taking advantage of this, Namrata always used to harass Advaita, but Advaita used to ignore her, due to which Namrata disliked her even more.
"What? But why?" Naksh asked.
Advaita replied, "Because I don't want to stress your mom anymore and I'm damn sure that you would not want to ruin your life by marrying a drug-addicted girl, right?"
Namrata asked Anshika, "Are you listening to what your daughter is saying? Is marriage a joke that people enter into relationships whenever they feel like it and back out whenever they want?"
Shivansh supported Advaita and said, "Why not? This was just a joke. Did your son or you ever appreciate this relationship? Every word he has said here today is a lie. If your son leaves Advaita alone for some other girl, will he guarantee her future? A person who can call an innocent girl a drug addict without thinking, how can he guarantee trust and respect in a relationship?"
Namrata looked at Shivansh and said, "Why are you defending this girl? Don't tell me that you both are having an affair and to hide it you want to get my son out of the way."
Namrata had not even completed her sentence when a slap fell tightly on her face and Namrata was surprised to see the one who had slapped her.
Who slapped Namrata?
