"Hello?" A female voice answers after a couple of seconds.
"Hi, my name is Hera Heartgraves. Can I speak to Madison?"
"That's me. Do I know you?"
"No, sorry this is probably a bit sudden, but a common friend of ours, Tatiana Paradiso gave me your phone number. I'm calling you regarding your current employer, Charles Willi-"
She hangs up. I blink, confused, and check the phone. It did not just cut off out of the blue, right? She hung up on me. I exchange a shocked glance with Liz, who scoffs while grabbing her cup.
"Sounds like that bastard did a good job..."
Well, I'm not going to let that stop me. I call the number again. This time, it rings for a long time, but right when I was about to lose hope, she finally takes the call.
"What do you want?!"
