The giant demonic bear known as ‘Teddy’ towered over Beams and his Teammates. It eyed them all with a hungry gaze, l*****g its b****y lips in anticipation of the meal it clearly wanted.
Beams didn’t even hesitate. He fired his lasers straight at Teddy, striking the beast in the heart and sending it staggering backward from the blow. But Teddy recovered quickly and, growling, charged at Beams and his Teammates with alarming speed.
“Everyone, scatter!” Beams yelled.
He didn’t need to tell them twice. The whole Team scattered in four different directions, causing Teddy to go rampaging past the spot where they had all been standing mere moments before. Teddy skidded to a halt, however, and looked around the hallway as if trying to decide who to attack first.
