3 Trisha clambered down the three flights of stairs from the flight deck, past the massive, mostly unused hangar deck to the main deck where her quarters were. Without the standard US Marines aboard and only a quarter of the full Navy crew, there was plenty of space. Even though she’d started out enlisted, she was a warrant officer now. It earned Trisha her own cabin in the officer’s section at the forward end of the main deck—which rocked. Of course, they’d accommodated all the women of SOAR in same section regardless of rank. This wasn’t a great hardship on space allocation, as there were only the four of them in all of the Night Stalkers, now that Major Beale was retired to civilian life.
