I couldn't remember running so fast in my life. I heard the ringing sound in my ear and from time to time and the nurses screaming, whilst pushing the hospital bed further down the hallway. He wasn't responding to to treatment ... he wasn't even moving at all, I called out to him
'"Max wake up" But there was no response from him.
The medical staff pushed the bed through the double doors and I was told not to go beyond that point and I didn't even complain. I just stood there looking at the light colored door. So many thoughts went through my mind at that moment maybe it was my fault that he was in this position.
I felt someone touch my shoulder causing me to almost jump out of my skin, only to see a nurse smiling at me.
"Don't worry my dear, hes going to be okay"
