Laurel's lovesick heart said no. But her sober mind yes, what else was he angry about if not this?
Was he disgusted because of her bruises? Did he find them ugly? Laurel had no idea if those will fade completely. She made a note to ask the doctor later.
After all the check ups, Laurel changed into her own clothes and walked back into the office.
