"I really wasn't. I thought she'd make you give up. She genuinely thinks it's a misunderstanding. And with that thing going on,
"You still haven't made it clear. What is it that is making you say such things? And why don't I know?" Darius glared with narrowed eyes.
Scarlett sighed. "Wow, it's the first time I've seen you slip. We can't talk here. Let's go somewhere else."
