I think I’ve gone into every darn club in this entire casino at least 5 times now trying to find Natasha and her friend. I tried to ignore the incessant drive to find her and prevent her from doing anything with any other man, but combined with Slade’s nagging, I just couldn’t. I couldn’t sit in the packhouse knowing she might be going home with some man at the end of the night. Just the thought of someone else seeing her beautiful body just as I saw it in the woods makes this burning anger build inside me.
She may no longer be my mate, but that doesn’t change the fact that I still feel a pull towards her. Slade is adamant that she is still ours and that we can still claim her. I just don’t want anything to happen that would prevent me from having that option in the future.
