Chapter Eleven Cassie opened her eyes and yelled in pain. The pain came from welts, bruises, pulled muscles and limbs twisted and held by chains. The endorphins had worn off. Cameltoe was standing over her. She wore the beatific smile that meant ideas about torture were in her head. “Good news,” Cameltoe said. “Your tribunal is finished and you’ve been sentenced. So we can move you from the interrogation area. You can go into the general population.” None of that made sense.
