I felt heartbroken throughout the whole night. I lay in my new bed in the loft wearing some shorts and Zuka's shirt that I washed after dinner while I was taking a shower. Some of the smell of his cologne was still there, but the lavender soap canceled some out. I still felt super comfortable in his shirt, so instead of dirtying it everywhere outside, I plan on keeping it for pajamas.
I stared at the ceiling fan going around and around, my mind racked with all my thoughts and emotions. Will Zuka eventually be happy with Jasmine? Will he love her like he loves me? Will he hold her at night and kiss her temple?
I put it all away.
I need to sleep after what happened.
