I grabbed a bag from my car that had workout clothes in it, then got into Kevin’s car. He pulled out of Keira and Adam’s driveway.
The silence in the car was uncomfortable for me. I finally decided to say something.
“Kevin, say something.” I said to him.
“What? Keira wants to bond with our father, I’m not stopping her.” He said to me.
“At some point, you're going to have to face him.” I told him.
“I’m supposed to forget that he left us without caring to even see how we were doing all these years? I don’t need him now. I needed that man 10 years ago.” Kevin grunted out.
“Do you have regrets?” I asked him.
“What?” Kevin asked me.
“Do you have any regrets? Things you have done and wish you had not?” I asked him.
Kevin was silent, then finally he said “Yeah, I have two regrets.
