“Come on Jaime! Let me live vicariously through you since I’m an old married woman now!” Keira said to me on my phone.
I called Keira to make sure she is ok. Laura was spending the day with her and helping with Lizzy, since Keira was put on a week of bed rest. However, Keira’s mom, Janet, came over and kind of pushed a Laura out, using the excuse that Keira is her daughter.
At one time Laura and Janet were friends, but when Adam and Keira got married, the friendship got strained. Janet basically has hinted that Laura was trying to take Keira away from Janet.
It is funny is if Janet would get help, she would not have these strained relationships with everyone. It is weird how your pride can make you blind to simple solutions.
