I got back to my place after Jaime got back with her stuff to spend the night at Adam and Keira’s. I offered to take Lizzy, but Jaime insisted on staying there with her.
I admit, I was worried and told her if she had any problems to call me. Lizzy is a good baby mostly, but she can be a handful, plus she is teething too. So I got concerned if Jaime can suddenly handle it.
When I bring Lizzy home with me, Mitzi is a great help. Mitzi considers herself the honorary drag aunt as she says. When I called and told Mitzi it was a change in plans, that Lizzy wasn’t coming over now, Mitzi was upset.
Around 9pm, I was in my room in bed reading over some stuff for work, when Jaime called me.
“Kevin, Lizzy has a temperature and she won’t stop crying.” Jaime said as I can hear Lizzy’s cries
