"We've got company. Check the territory," I ordered Phelan through the mind link. "Yes, Alpha!" he replied in mind link.
I started scanning the perimeter for any signs of intruders. I took a deep breath to catch any odd scents but got nothing. I walked back to the car to get the rock, which got stuck in the windshield. I slowly pulled it out and saw a piece of paper inserted in the crevice. I took it out and opened it and found a message.
"CONGRATULATIONS IN FINDING YOUR MATE! YOU BETTER NOT LET HER OUT OF YOUR SIGHT!"
Rage started to consume my whole body, and so as my wolf after reading the note. I closed my eyes and crumpled the paper in my hand to release some of the tensions. I looked at Cailean as I opened my eyes and saw her staring at me. I left out a sigh
