When Cara turned six, she was able to see how hardworking and successful her parents were as the owners of famous wine brands and juice brands. She could also see how happy her parents were to be able to do and get whatever they want because of their success so she decided that she wanted to take over their businesses in the future once she grew older in order to keep their success ongoing. As her parents, they were certainly proud of her for having a good ambition that they let her go to the best university in the country for her ambition to be competent enough to take over their companies to not die.   Cara spent her teenage years studying hard to keep her valedictorian position until she graduated to show to her parents that she had the intelligence to be deserving for the CEO position of both companies. Though her relaxed ambition got heated up when Clementine suddenly existed to be her rival, which made their sister relationship drop to zero. It was all fine for Cara actually but Clementine just suddenly turned six and told her parents that she wanted to own a huge business like them. Since her parents said that they might give Clementine the companies if she would prove her competence to them, Cara grew jealous and more ambitious into defeating her little sister. Cara may not admit it but she could see how Clementine was definitely not the person who would let anyone down.   “Clementine! We stopped by your mansion so we would have gone here together but a red laser beam suddenly pointed on the car and your AI virtual assistant said that you were not at home. Thank god, we weren’t harmed,” Tyson said and let out a heartily laugh as he gave his daughter a brief hug.   “Oh, yeah. Good thing, father,” Clementine spoke in a monotone as she gave her mom a brief hug and did a cheek kiss.   As Clementine and Charli let go of each other, her eyes landed on her sister who had been standing beside her mom the whole time. The sisters locked eyes as they gave each other lightning glares as if they were both characters in an anime. Cara’s mood was fine before they arrived at the venue but when she saw Clementine, her mood instantly changed to annoyance. As for Clementine, she felt the same as her sister although the only difference between them was that her mood was not that fine before she stepped foot on the venue. Suddenly, it was as if they were in their own world as they competed in giving the strongest glare to each other. They did not care about the others around them nor even if a lot of cameras were capturing their gaze battle moment.   ‘I would a thousand times rather see a tower of cucumbers than this stupid-looking damn skunk,’ Clementine thought after looking at Cara from head to toe with an obvious disgusted look on her face. Thinking that the presence of cucumbers, which are one of the foods or things she loathes the most, were much better than her older sister’s totally shows how much she hates her sister.   ‘I would a million times rather be born as a cockroach in my next life than be a human that is blood-related to this dumb f**k blobfish,’ was what Cara was thinking as she scanned with her eyes from Clementine’s heels to her straight black hair with wavy ends with her face slightly scrunched in revulsion.   “My lovely daughters, why are you looking at each other like that?” Tyson said as he looked both of his daughters with his eyebrows raised. Clementine smirked in victory when Cara was the first one to look away. She then turned to her father and smiled sweetly.   “Oh, father. That’s just how we look lovingly to each other as loving sisters. Right, my loving sister, Cara?” Clementine said as she flashed a fake smile to Cara and batted her eyelashes that were longer than Cara’s.   “Of course, my loving sister, Clementine,” Cara flashed a forced smile as well while looking at their parents to convince them, which worked though Seville was the only one who knew that his two sisters had a sour relationship.   “Aw. It looks like we raised our children to be very loving to each other. Don’t you think so, darling?” Charli said sweetly as she clung on Tyson’s arm tighter and looked at his husband with a smile.   “You’re right, darling. Now, let’s head in already, shall we?” Tyson said as he and his wife walked towards the entrance, leaving the three siblings behind. Cara’s fake smile dropped as she flipped her hair and followed her parents without giving Clementine a glance.   “Shall we go in, my loving sister?” Seville teased as he tilted his head to the side while giving Clementine an annoying look. “Oof!”   After hitting Seville’s side, Clementine walked towards the hotel confidently with her chin up, leaving her little brother grunting in pain. Some young women who were also attendees went toward Seville to ask if he needed help or anything though Seville just shook his hands and ran towards Clementine to walk by her side. Clementine did not care about his presence and just continued walking to the main event that some people would have thought that Seville was not her brother but her bodyguard.   Since the awarding ceremony was held in a five-star hotel, it was expected that the employees prepared the venue nice and classy. Round tables with white table cloth and silver clothed chairs filled the venue for the attendees to sit. There was a huge yellow chandelier on the center of the ceiling, which caught most of the people’s eyes since they looked like they were real crystals above them. When Clementine had already entered the hotel where there were less cameras, she finally took her shades off and kept them in her hand bag. On the back was the buffet with different kinds of delicious foods that were cooked by professional chefs. Seville stood still as he stared at the mouthwatering foods served. He quickly scanned his eyes on each food until his eyes set target on the garlic butter chicken on the end of the buffet table. Since he was certainly crazy for chicken, he could have approached the chicken already if Clementine had not pulled the back of his collar, which resulted him to almost choking.   “At least have some decency, dumbass. It’s embarrassing that you’re actually my brother,” Clementine hissed as she pulled Seville’s arm until they arrived at the table with their family.   “I just want some chicken,” Seville furrowed his eyebrows as he pouted and crossed his arms after taking a seat next to Cara.   “Let’s grab some food before the main event starts, my children,” Tyson said with a smile as he stood up and helped his wife stand up as well. Seville quickly faced Clementine and gave her a glare.   “Doofus,” Clementine smirked evilly as she followed her parents to the buffet as well.   The 21st National Entrepreneurship Awards was what the event was called and it was actually a unique awarding ceremony to ever exist since the event just seemed like a formal gathering party where everyone could interact with each other over food and wine. Instead of talking about business, other businesswomen were talking about how hot the members of the new boy band were while other businessmen were talking about how sexy the villain in the new video game was. Clementine gave a lowkey glare to the group of men who were talking about how they wanted to bang the members of a K-Pop girl group as they were picking food to their plates at the buffet.   There were tons of fancy dishes served in the buffet, which made Seville happy since there were many chicken dishes as well that he had to grab another plate to fill the rest. Unlike his brother, Clementine only picked three pieces of garlic bread, three pieces of California maki, a bowl of hot mushroom soup, and a lot of fresh strawberries. Yes, Clementine’s mood lifted a bit because the buffet had fresh strawberries served. As a loyal member of the vegan club, Cara only picked purely vegetable dishes and fruits to her plate. Clementine was about to return to their table after grabbing food when two Korean women in dresses, which colors were a combination of pink, purple, and blue, stopped in front of her with a smile flashed on their faces.   ‘Are they here in behalf of the bisexual community or something?’ was the only thought that crossed Clementine’s mind as soon as she saw them.   “Hello, Ms. Zalekun! My name’s Heewon Kim and this is Yeseul Ju. We are new in the business industry and we are currently running a perfume business like yours,” Heewon cheerfully introduced themselves while Yeseul just shyly smiled and slightly bowed to Clementine, who was not listening attentively and was just staring at her glowing peach hair.   Clementine had always wanted to dye her hair peach ever since she saw a picture of a cute Korean idol with peach hair. She thought that the color looked both soft and adorable so she planned on dying her hair with that color but she would always think that it would be unprofessional for a businesswoman, who was supposed to be a role model to all people in the business industry, to have a hair color other than black or brown. With that constant thought, she decided to shake off the desire to have another hair color and continue to admire herself with black hair, telling herself that she looked better with black hair than other hair colors anyway. This was also one of the reasons that she looks down to her own sister since Cara recently dyed her hair scarlet, which does not actually really make sense.   “I’m not interested in investing to your business,” Clementine said with a poker face, which made Yeseul almost get goosebumps because of how intimidating she was though Heewon just raised her eyebrows in question as the smile on her face remained.
