After Damian’s family left the party, the police who had stormed the hotel requested for my sister. I don’t know how I can explain to them that she was innocent but I tried anyway.
“Eric I’m scared; I swear I didn’t do it.” Emily cried to me after I got her out of the car and told her about the police questions.
“I know…I know, you didn’t do it; I saw the whole thing and I believe that you are innocent. You just have to tell all that to the police; there is no need to be scared. You did absolutely nothing wrong,” I assured her with my hands on her shoulders as I led her to the police, who had requested they talk to her.
