I raced out of the party and straight for the hospital where my sister was. I don't know how the first nurse I saw knew me but she immediately directed me to her ward.
"Over here," she called out, immediately hurrying towards the emergency room. My sister was in a hospital gown and she had her leg bandaged; her face was pale and her once radiant skin was dull.
"Hey," she croaked. Voicing like she'd cried for a while. I felt anger surge inside me.
I was so furious that I hit the wall in anger; not minding the damage it did to my hand afterwards.
